I shot a couple of rounds from a Barrett once. No recoil… but the concussion sure was something!

There are a lot of videos of people that don’t understand recoil and the need to firmly hold firearms that can be rather humorous.

SEE VID of dude what had 50 cal blow
up in his face. Wounded him real bad…..
^^ In other woids, YOU need to become part of the gun.

50 BMG. pfft. Look up Anzio Ironworks 20mm rifle.
I’m thinkin’ the whole thing is staged since the weapon didn’t move back with him! He went back like he was behind a 106 recoilless rifle!
2
Buddy of mine had a detached retina from firing a 50 BMG.

One of the great ones….
“….In another classic “Hoser” anecdote, CDR Joe Satrapa was experimenting with a 20mm cannon from an F-14 Tomcat when, “One day while Hoser was playing around with his new invention, the breach blew up taking off Hoser’s right index finger and thumb. Note that a right thumb is essential for flying a jet fighter because the electric trim tab is located on the top of the control stick where the pilot’s thumb rests while holding the stick. Thus, a pilot without a right thumb cannot fly a jet fighter.”
But according to the now famous anecdote posted on the Naval Academy alumni blog, the loss of his right thumb would not stop “Hoser” from flying fighter aircraft. “He convinced the surgeon to take off his right big toe and attach it to his right hand . . . now he had three fingers and a big toe. It looked a bit like a lobster claw but Hoser demonstrated that he could operate the trim button, so he went back on flight status . . . with a new call sign, “Toeser”. Hey, you just can’t make this stuff up….”
HA!
Wee Man needs a wee gun…
I laughed too!!
Funny but fake.
Someone pulled him back by his feet.
Funny, but painfully faked.
I shot one of those 50 bmg. Recoil isn’t that bad but the muzzle blast is something else.
I’ve seen him before. He’s a rock star.

NO GUN TOSSES THIS DWARF!
I’m, causally, working on stuffing a 6.5 SPC into an AR 308. I’ll let you know how it works out. We’re .040 away.
Maybe he should have used a short round.
