The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration will move to reclassify marijuana as a less dangerous drug, The Associated Press has learned, a historic shift to generations of American drug policy that could have wide ripple effects across the country.

Tried it a few times. Then an old friend from grade school hooked me up with some hydroponically grown stuff he picked up while away at college. My new years resolution in ’88 to never again touch the stuff will hit 40 years here in a few… I have to confess though… My family owns property up in the “growing regions” in far northern Kali, and growing up around that element sure helped… You think the users are stupid… The growers pre-legalization were like 1920’s Chicago gangsters crossed with Moonshiners out in the country.

The people who smoke dope already smoke dope whether it is illegal or not. This will not make millions more smokers. Even in states where it is legal to smoke for the fun of it most employers will not allow its use.
At my age I MIGHT eventually take it up as needed for aches and pains. MIGHT. AS NEEDED.

OK, I’ll come clean, even if some here think will less of me. I took my first hit of maryjane in 1970. I didn’t get high, but I tried again a couple of days later. I’ve smoked off and on since then, including in the Air Force in the 70s where it was prevalent. If you smoke too much, too often, you will turn into a lazy slug. Everything in moderation is the way to go, and you don’t need to be high at school or work.
Sure, reefer these days is much more powerful than what I smoked as a kid; that just means I have to smoke a lot less to achieve the desired results. Marijuana has drawbacks, but it’s not as destructive as many other recreational drugs – like alcohol.
Weed, cell phones, muslims & democrat election fraud will be the end of mankind…

The great benefit of that evil green plant is HEMP CREAM for pain. They take the bad stuff out peeps. It works. If you have joint pain, arthritic pain, wife pain, woops. No I’m serious. Rub it on topical. Take my word for it, post cancer everything hurts and this stuff works.
Psilocybin (actual haluciganics) are less restricted than weed, depending how you look at it. Head shop in my town can’t sell shrooms, but can sell grow kits to harvest your own shrooms, no problem. They also can’t sell weed, nor can they sell weed seeds.

If proponents of weed can’t admit that fact then their arguments are completely worthless.
I’m not sure this DEA reclassification really means anything. Marijuana was classified as a schedule 1 drug by Congress around 1970, so it would take an act of Congress to remove it from schedule 1. Recent administrations have basically instructed US attorneys not to enforce federal drug laws with regard to the use of marijuana (I think since the Clinton administration), but at the federal level the sale, possession and use of marijuana is still illegal.
Here in Illinois the democrats legalized weed a few years ago. Not that it made any difference to those who’d been smoking it all along. They did it to create dispensaries and collect taxes on it, just like they ended prohibition because the government was missing out on billions in tax revenue.
Pharmaceuticals are the plaque upon society.

Here, let me help ya out. It’s part of what is known as prepping the environment. Environment for what? For the progressive movement’s insatiable lust for using children and teens to satisfy their sexual desires. It’s part of the tried and true methodology. It is all but ubiquitous in the pattern that victims report. The predators almost without exception use pot early in the process.
That is also why they lose their fucking minds when you say: No, I am not willing to concede good intentions to you. I have no way of knowing your intentions, but I have the ability to look at what your behavior has a history of causing.
The progressive movement leaves nothing to the imagination any longer what their actions are geared toward, the out and proud “transing” of children makes it impossible to miss it.
