RestoringLiberty: The U.S. Marine Corps is investigating allegations an unspecified number of military personnel and veterans allegedly distributed nude photos of female colleagues and other women as part of a perverse social media network that promotes sexual violence.
The explosive revelation was first reported by The War Horse and published Saturday via Reveal, part of the Center for Investigative Reporting. Potentially hundreds of Marines may be caught up in the scandal, which has shaken top Pentagon officials and prompted death threats against the Marine veteran who disclosed it. An undetermined number of nude photos were shared online by way of a Facebook group titled Marines United, according to the report. When I was in the Marines one of the WMs (women Marines) in my training school actually had a picture spread in Playboy. It took them a few months, but they eventually discharged her for posing in a partial uniform in a couple of the pics.

In 1975, over in the UK, one of the young enlisted females in our squadron started shacking up with one of our Phantom pilots who went by the moniker, Italian Stallion. She went around telling everyone who would listen about their sex life and everything else. When the squadron commander found out, he called the Italian Stallion into his office and explained that if he didn’t kick her out of his apartment by the end of the day, he would never fly Phantoms again. All her stuff was boxed up and sitting on the front porch with instructions to go away and never come back.

I went over to the Facebook page, lots of pro-Trump, pro-America, not out-right-in-your-face conservative (but yay conservative) stuff, the occasional pro-Christianity post, and the occassional eye-candy (that isn’t anything different from what would be seen at the grocery store check-out line). The nudies were either already deleted, or my guess is that this is all about shutting down a high profile, highly liked, highly all-American group of manly-men.
