A husband caught his wife cheating, and now he’s facing up to 15 years in jail.
Sean Donis’s wife, Nancy Donis, 38, said she was going to dinner. Donis stayed behind to watch their 5-year-old son. When he couldn’t find his iPad, he turned on the Find My iPhone app to locate it.
The software showed the electronic device moving toward an unknown location; he had a hunch that his wife had taken it, and he decided to follow. He arrived at a house and opened the unlocked door. On the second floor, he found his wife in bed with her boss, Albert Lopez, 58. With his iPhone, he recorded two brief videos of them in bed.
The New Jersey man got a letter last July informing him that a grand jury had indicted him on charges…

Once upon a time in America he could have shot both dead, claimed momentary madness due to the anguish of betrayal, crime of passion, etc, and a jury would likely have understood and he’d walk, a sadder but wiser man to raise the 5 year old without the whore.

Under God’s O.T. law (which we today are not under as any literal rule) both adulterers were equally responsible and worthy of death. The woman gave herself to another man, breaking her sworn vow to the husband, making her a treacherous liar and whore. The man who has sex with her knowingly takes the sworn woman of another man, a very bad form of theft.
So while no one today is under the letter of the Law, the moral weight of it is nevertheless still very much in force — hence adulterers, liars, etc, are to be cast into the Lake of Fire. Meaning God still views it as seriously as He did at Sinai.
