“Abolish Police” City Council Members get private security

Patriot Retort:

This is just chef’s kiss perfect.  Three members of the Minneapolis City Council who are pushing to abolish the police have retained the services of a private security firm to the tune of $4,500 a day.

Yeah.  I know.

  1. Someone should put a measure on the ballot (everywhere) that politicians at the municipal level are not entitled to any more police or security protection than private citizens and that government funding cannot be used for any private security protection either directly or indirectly.

  2. Publish their names and addresses in the local papers and especially all over the internet make sure the addresses get to every prison, jail, halfway house, Psych ward and pre-release center in the state. The rent a cops are not going to stand up to a determined assault. If they call 911 for the police the police should NOT respond or slow walk it so that it takes an hour or so to respond. Then see how they like having no police force.

  3. No. 4,500 a day should get you 3 operators, tactical comms, and a guy at the other end. Plus a meatball sub with extra cheese.

Hire a body guard? 1k a day. Why so expensive? It’s one giant black guy, the fatter the better.

Or, hire Burr. 200 a day. I pack an X-15 flamethrower.

Up to you. Big black guy doesn’t say much. Burr has a flamethrower. Sort of a 6 of one half a dozen of the other kind of deal.
