After Pressure From LGBTQ Activists, Chick-fil-A Is Forced To Close First U.K. Restaurant

Washington Sentinel: LGBTQ groups are celebrating the news that the first Chick-fil-A restaurant in the U.K. will be forced to close its doors.

Listening to the protest of LGBTQ activists, the Oracle shopping mall said today that it would not renew the restaurant’s lease beyond its “six-month pilot period,” adding that it “was the right thing to do.” more here

  4. It will be interesting to watch the lines around the block for the next 6 months, and the uproar from people who love their food when they finally do close their doors.
    Also, the Left makes its cases on the flimsiest of evidence. Much of their ‘suspect’ donations is to Salvation Army, which per the Left deserves hate simply because of its view on marriage despite no other actions relevant to the issue.

  5. All of this “attention to queers” and their unnatural preferences today was started long ago with same-sex marriages becoming legal in the states, one after another.

    My parent’s generation knew these people existed, but tolerated them in the movies, TV and in public life. As a result, I only had a hint that these people existed until I left home into the real world.

    It seems some people will do anything to gain a little attention and/or to destroy our Western civilization. So, here we are.

    and, Matthew 10:14, “If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet.”
    The UK has suffered a lose. Chick fil a will be just fine.

  8. The first store in Toronto is doing GREAT. Lineups daily. My son has been three times and it takes 45 min on pubic transport. (not a typo)

    Just remember, most Brits don’t have the money for real food. They eat a lot of processed shit because real food like a decent cut of meat is far too expensive. A real piece of chicken is the same thing.

    I had friends that lived there for 2 years and they said, ” I will never complain about the cost of food in Canada again after eating carbs and Indian food in London for 2 years.

    So I believe that the story is a half truth.

  9. Until my late teens, I thought queers were just a handful of degenerates up in Hollywood.

    Well, they’re even more degenerate now, and there are more of them. It’s mostly the result of: “Hey, Larry’s a queer, I’ll be one too”.

    Once a thing gets public approval, there’s no end of it.

    Sex with animals will be the next big degenerate thing discussed, argued over, and finally approved, first in the entertainment industry, then by the CNN and MSNBC talking heads.

    That I think is true. On a trip to the UK, some relatives of mine were enthralled over a piece of beef that in America would be 2nd or 3rd rate. They don’t have the grazing land for large numbers of cattle. The beef is not so good.

    At least, I think that is the reason.
