“We lost a beloved member of the CBS family today with the passing of Bob Barker. During his 35 years as host of THE PRICE IS RIGHT, Bob made countless people’s dreams come true and everyone feel like a winner when they were called to ‘come on down.’ In addition to his legendary 50-year career in broadcasting, Bob will be remembered as a dedicated animal rights activist. Daytime television has lost one of its most iconic stars,” CBS said in a statement. More
My go to show when I was home sick from school as a kid. 10 a.m. where I grew up. Always loved Plinko and Cliffhanger. Gonna miss you, Bob. RIP
He died at 99.7 years of age – the closest you can get to 100 without busting. Even in death he won the prize. RIP.
There are so many funny clips of Bob Barker on YouTube.
He was a great part of my childhood when you had the special event such as a snow day or illness.
Rest in peace GOAT!
*Please spay & neuter your dog…
Sorry, no offense but that was kinda weird to say at every show ending…
Come on down.

I’ve got to be honest, a game show host?
“I’ve got to be honest, a game show host?”
He beat the shit out of Adam Sandler. LOL. WHO posted quite a tribute to him tonight. One of the wife’s bffs worked for that show for about 15 years. Described him as one awesome guy.
Dude lived to 99.
We should all be so lucky.
“Actual retail price… 99 years!”
Bob Barker gave millions to those Sea Shepard fucks. They even named their ship after him.
He’s in hell with all the other hollywood fags.
^^^^ LOL. I know, your pissed. Didn’t make the big hundo. My new revised goal is stay as athletic and mobile as I can, until a Government Agency kills me. Not LOLing.
Hey, if I die and Burr disparages me before my body is cold I know I’ve been a success.
LOL!
You’ve got it all wrong, Logo.
Sad little Burr relishes in successful man’s passing.
I think I have it right…
I much prefer you direct your ire towards me than all these good people here.
You’re seething and you don’t know why. You react impulsively and irrationally. All I’m doing is trying to get to the bottom of this to help you out.
I don’t know Burr, letting a man die in peace seems like the righteous thing to do.
The asshole thing is to disparage him on the very day he dies.
So please, read me some Bible verse why dontcha?
But we already know that I’m an asshole. You’ve said it yourself. It’s not about me.
It’s about your radical change in behavior. Could be health related, could be stress in your personal life.
Eventually we’ll figure it out.
I appreciate your concern Burr,
I really do.
RIP Bob…. 99 is a pretty good run.
oops! ^^^^^ dat is me ^^^^^

One of today’s headlines in The Babylon Bee reads, Dogs in Heaven flee in terror as Bob Barker arrives. The last line of the article reads, “At publishing time, the Lord Almighty had reportedly sat down with Bob Barker to explain that neutering had to stop at the pearly gates.”
I remember my mother standing at the ironing board, smoking Kool cigarettes and watching Bob Barker….what housewives did back then.
Here is his TV debut.

Funny, I thought he sounded like Jack Benny at the beginning of his appearance.
I have no clue who this is.
99 years as a man. He really beat the actuarial tables.
I will never forget the infamous beat down on Happy Gilmore. Classic….
Thanks Bob. RIP.
Here’s the truth. Living to 99 sucks. Everything you bump leaves a bruise or worse rips your skin off. You can’t get up to pee so you lie in it till someone takes you to the toilet. Food has no taste or appeal so you don’t eat setting you up for constipation. You get bed sores from being in the same position. You can’t wipe your own butt, someone has to do it for you. Your bank account is drained by doctors, hospitals and caregivers. You pray to die every night. That’s life at 99.
R.I.P. Bob Barker. “The price is wrong, BITCH!” -A. Sandler
Not necessarily for all, my dad’s oldest brother was 99 and a half when he passed away from a brain tumor 5 years ago. He was still driving just a few months before he died, he was very active and all there mentally and I saw him last in Oct 2017 when he drove up to my mom and dad’s house unexpectedly just after sunset while I just starting to make dinner for them when I was their caregiver with a large pizza from Costco and some wine. We had a good dinner and visit with him that night. He was born in Sept. 1918 two months before World War 1 ended and lived till March 2018 just barely a month after my dad his young- est brother died just a month shy of his 89th birthday. I miss them both. All my grandparents on both sides had died in their early 70’s back in the 1960’s and all of their children outlived them by 20 t0 30 years.
The real Price is Right with Bill Cullen.

The current Barker/Carrey version claims it started in 1972, but Bill Cullen hosted th four people at a desk version in the 1950s. A lot more formal approach.
Bill Cullen had polio as a youth and wore leg braces. That’s why he was always sitting down
Appropriate that the golf club winning bid included the Iseta. Good golf cart.
