Canada’s Pro-Beijing Foreign Minister Has Mortgages with State-Owned Bank of China

Breitbart:

Canadian Foreign Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne, who controversially offered warm gratitude to communist China for shipping defective coronavirus equipment to Canada in March, was discovered this week to have two large mortgages in London with the state-owned Bank of China.

Public awareness of these financial commitments, evidently known to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his administration, raised new questions about Chinese influence over Canadian politics. read more

  1. Also, you can’t get a decent political job in Canada unless you are bilingual.

Our Country is full of these types of arrogant bastards on the take.
    Loyal to Quebec before Canada
    Loyal to China before Canada
Loyal to the the east before the west

Canada’s spy agency warned about this type of shit 25 years ago.

But then again you guys have Hillary & Russia
    Biden & Ukraine
    \ Obama & Iran/Africa

Hmm, Trudeau really is pro China too.
    I wonder wonder wonder why?

    Politicians are pigs!

  2. I would imagine that preening fuck Trudeau’s cabinet (and the back room Liberal Party hacks) likely have similar arrangements. At least we know the $600 million dollar bribe that he paid to the media is covering up. Of the four candidates for the leadership of the Conservative Party at least one ought to be able to light a fire under the electorate using Trudeau and his Liberal record.

Don’t bet on the conservatives getting it together up here.
Doug Ford has proven to barely be different than the horrible liberal he replaced. I was Talking to the late Rob Ford’s wife and she is adamant that “Rob would have given his brother shit if he was still alive.”
John Tory the “conservative ” mayor of Toronto has been ripping up roads & putting in bike lanes before, during, and future since Covid-1984. He used to be the campaign manager of Canada’s first Female prime minister (4 months & canned) Kim Cambel who was the fist conservative to introduce SEVERE GUN CONTROL in 1993-4.
    Andy Sheer has no balls.

There are a lot of conservatives who get in and then reposition to protect their re-election instead of doing their fucking jobs.

Doug Ford got soft VERY quick and is listening to the Canadian SWAMP!

Turdeau is busy buying his next election with our money.

Toronto 2020, You can bring your dog for a haircut in Covid but not humans. These conservatives forget that they are suposed to represent freedom of choice & personal responsibility, not government cheese.

  4. Champagnes corruption reminds me of the disgraced former Democrat Party US Senator Chris “Sandwich” Dodd (D-Con). Dodd was chair of the Senate Banking committee and made sure his mortgage lender Countrywide was well taken care of at the start of the 2008 housing crisis and the New Depression that resulted from it.

  5. Hi @Kcir; I’m aware of the problems that may happen however of the four candidates Leslyn Lewis is one of the two that will make a very good challenger and a very good party leader. She’s already stated that she’ll repeal Trudeau’s gun grab and his anti energy legislation including the carbon credit fiasco and will enforce the rule of law in situations like the illegal rail blockades that did great damage to our economy just before Wuhan Virus. She has also stated that she will hold China responsible for releasing the virus as well as lying about it. I’ve seen her in interviews and she’s well spoken and confident and would likely shred Trudeau.

A second candidate that could run a campaign is Erin O’Toole, an MP from Ontario. He’s more of a red tory judging by his policy platform (but nothing like Joe Clarke) but would likely shore up Ontario votes.

If the Conservatives can heal the rift in that party caused by Maxime Bernier who lost the last leadership convention, formed his own party and split off enough conservative votes to cost the party seven seats in the last election and if they can come to an understanding with Francois Legault the head of the Coalition Avenir du Quebec they may be able to make a breakthrough in that province. The Coalition was created by members of all parties who were tired of constant threats of separation and molded their platform around committing to no votes for separation as long as they’re in power along with growing the economy.

@Kcir, the debates are coming up soon and you’ll get a chance to see all four candidates and decide which one holds the best chance. I urge you to watch as it could be a turning point for our country.
