CINDY MCCAIN: I think he’d be disgusted with some of the stuff that’s going on. I really do. He’d be railing against what’s going on. I think John provided a lot of cover for other members and when he would do it, they could get behind him. I’m not seeing a real rudder in the Senate right now.
AXELROD: Why do you think that is? It seems like there’s this sort of reign of terror about taking on the president and criticizing him.
MCCAIN: I think it has to do with re-elections and keeping their heads down. I’m not being critical, because I understand what it means to get re-elected. But, at some point, you have to do what you were elected to do — and that was represent the country as well as your local people. But I think John would be — I know he’d be terribly upset by this whole thing. He was upset before he died. He saw what was going on. I wish he were here, like all of us, I wish he were here. But we need him more than ever. We really do.
McCain was a career politician that was a major part of just how screwed up this country had become before the man she thinks is a disgrace started to steer it in the right direction.
McCain’s infamous thumbs down, the dramatic last vote on the skinny repeal” bill — which would have permanently repealed the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate, sealed this a$$hole’s legacy. He was a self-serving, bitter, grudge-holding jerk who put his own ego before country.

Trump had the hero part right. America needs heros that are still living, McCain lived off the backs of others, and McCain was exposed for the coward that he was. I voted for Sarah Palin knowing what McCain was all about. Providence is much wiser than I am. Cindy needs to let go, we don’t need to hear McCain’s bones rattle any more. For America, McCain is where we need him.

As a former Plane Captain (crew chief) in the Navy I wouldn’t have wanted to have been his Plane Captain. His Plane Captain was one of the first killed when McCain’s A-4 Skyhawk exploded and started the death and destruction on board the USS Forrestal that took the lives of over 130 + sailors.
