One of the bright spots in the very young and angry 2021.
CNN announced Tuesday that it would pull the plug on its long-running Airport Network, causing jubilation among many of the network’s critics on social media.
Network President Jeff Zucker announced the CNN Airport Network will officially end on March 31, citing a “deep decline in airport traffic because of COVID-19, coupled with all the new ways that people are consuming content on their personal devices.”
CNN: Not even reliable or trustworthy enough to give Arrival & Departure information!!
Did they really cancel or did the individual airports haggle over what CNN was worth. lol
Weren’t they paying the airports to get the TV monopoly?
So, for the last 10 months nobody was watching all those TVs and Sucker was paying for it?
That’s so funny…
People no longer want the shit Zucker is selling,,,
Nobody is flying, so the advertisers pulled the ad money. If it wasen’t for cable bundling, the Communist News Network would have already gone the way of the dodo.
Jethro, indeed cnn pays an airport concession fee. Good riddance. Since there market value is tanking as quickly as the market value of fox, it’s gratifying to see.
CNN didn’t sell anything. Remember who owns CNN: AT&T.
It’s the swamp propaganda arm. It’ll be back.
now i wont have to spoon fling rice pudding at the TV screens anymore.
i wasted a whole lot of rice pudding these past few decades in airports.
