Cuomo Democrat Machine in a rage over spoiler Stephanie Miner

Patriot Retort: I told you a while back that the former mayor of Syracuse Stephanie Miner has tossed her hat in the ring for New York Governor.

But Miner isn’t running against Andrew Cuomo in the Democrat Primary.

No.

Instead, she’s decided to launch an independent run.

When she first announced, I wrote:

Let’s face it. The former Minor Mayor isn’t going to peel votes away from a Republican in November.

She’s a Leftist Progressive in good standing.

So her Independent run will only siphon votes from Andrew “Thumb on the Scales” Cuomo.

And if the NYS GOP could get its head of out its own ass, it could make the most of that opportunity.

Well, apparently I’m not the only one who realized that Democrat Miner running against Cuomo in the general election will hurt the Democrats.

The New York Democrat Machine knows it as well. And they are not happy about it.

So what do Machine Democrats do when someone running for office hurts their preferred candidate?  Find out HERE

  1. Dianny – “In other words, they have to hope that at least twenty-six thousand of the forty-one thousand signatures are not valid in order to prevent Miner from launching an independent run against Andrew Cuomo.”

Oh so now the Hillary Democrats care about potential fraud when it comes to preventing Cuomo from being put on the chopping block come November? LMAO. I hope Cuomo beats Nixon by a razor thin margin and in the process pisses off the Sanders-Democrats to vote for Miner en masse.

Even if Minor were to win (I have no faith in NY GOP either), it would almost be worth it to see the shock on Cuomo’s face in defeat.

  2. If the Republican party in New York is as gutless as the Republican party in California, it won’t make any difference – Cuomo may win by less of a margin than predicted, but will win none-the-less.

I understand the RNC not wanting to spend money in states where the Democrats in urban areas have substantial majorities, but this is very short term thinking and damaging to the Republicans in other states. The Democrats in California are running a gubernatorial candidate who is left of Jerry Brown, but Cox is not getting much support. This allows the Democrats to control the narrative, and the narrative in much of California is that there is no support for Republicans, there is no support for conservative views, and everyone supports leftist policies. This is actually not true, but the Republican party is ceding this narrative to the Democrats.

Republican messaging may not result in Republican victories in this election, or the next, but as the liberals tax and spend the state into financial oblivion and continue to restrict personal freedom in the name of “justice,” a conservative narrative will likely be appealing in the future.

  3. @AbigailAdams – I laughed…didn’t groan!

Every few days (sometimes more frequently) I get a nice smile and the warm fuzzies when I remind myself:
Hillary Clinton will never be President.
Now I can add another line to that, and my grin will be even wider:
John McCain will always be dead.
