Dan Crenshaw (R-TX), Pro-Life Warrior – IOTW Report

Dan Crenshaw (R-TX), Pro-Life Warrior

The 116th House of Representatives has been seated and a number of freshmen have brought themselves notoriety with their public statements. While the radical leftist among the new class have stirred controversy and scorn with their utterances, Dan Crenshaw from Texas’ Second District has consistently impressed.

Today Lila Rose interviewed the Texas congressman at the March for Life. The interview in its entirety Here

  1. Hope he gets time to visit with Cap’n Adam Daniel Kinzinger, U.S. Rep for IL’s 16.
Dan, ask Adam what being feet wet over blue water and bingo means. His msnbc ties run kasich blue too.
    Just FYI.
    It’s a swamp out there.

  2. The characteristic I like most about Crenshaw (and other conservatives in congress like him) is he seems to be governed by this scripture:

Matthew 5:33-37 33″Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘Do not break your oath, but fulfill to the LORD the vows you have made.’ 34But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; 35or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. 36And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black. 37All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.

Let your no be no and let your yes be yes. There’s no evasion, no shiftiness to what you mean. It’s bold and reliable. I like when I detect this trait in pols. It’s too rare. Even when that silly girl, Occasional Cortex, (unwittingly and for a far different reason) follows this prescription, at least we know who she is.

  3. Kinda funny that, throughout History, most people were PRO-LIFE – particularly within their own group, or tribe, or nation, or whatever. Killing one’s children seems to be a fairly modern construction. Of course, our ancient kinsmen would kill the halt, the lame, and the disfigured of their children, but, for the most part they protected their children with a sort of fury. And they had little problem killing other peoples’ children – that was sort of a given – in the event of war or widespread strife (famine, drought, pestilence).

Now, those who worship at the altars of Moloch, Bel, Mammon, Nihil, Marx, and a host of various other false gods, have convinced us to murder our sons and daughters in utero! With the assumption that humanity is a plague upon the Earth!

    Our gullibility is mind-wobbling!

  4. The leftists in this country have always had a grossly disproportional influence on our culture and it’s a mystery why. Everything they stand for is corrosive and detrimental to the general well being.
It must be human nature to gravitate toward leaning negative when selfishness and envy get the better of us.

  5. OT, but Benny Shapiro lost a sponsor over his podcost at the March for Life event. He said something about how if you’re really pro-life you wouldn’t kill baby hitler. WHY in the world would you say something that jackassed? It’s up to Benny what pro-life means? And then he brings up hitler? What is wrong with him? MFL doesn’t need that kind of attention. Now they will have to ‘explain’ shit to the LSM because of him.

  6. II Timothy 3 gives a pretty clear description of why these last generations are so vapid and myopic (towards self). The children of Israel have been much the same, especially in the 40 years leading up to 70 AD.

You cannot give way to culture (man’s desires) and abrogate the Word of YHWH without negative consequences. The “church” has done the same as the Pharisees, Sadducees and scribes did leading up to the first Advent (and beyond).

As Ecclesiastes 1:9 plainly states, YHWH’s plan works from a cyclic history of man’s sinful nature:

Ecc 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

    II Timothy 3

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
    4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of יהוה;
5 Having a form of reverence, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all יהוה delivered me.
12 Yea, and all that will live reverently in Yahushua the Messiah shall suffer persecution.
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
    14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Yahushua the Messiah.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of יהוה, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of יהוה may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

    Shabbat shalom.

  7. MJA, I think what Ben was doing was to validate an immutable declarative fact with the most extreme absurd example possible to prove it’s sanctity. It would be like saying that if Hitler, in his last days in his bunker, found Jesus, repented of his sins and accepted the gift of salvation, then yes, he would be welcome into the kingdom of Heaven, that is how salvation works. No, I wouldn’t go there, but using extremes to prove a point is common. If life is precious and worth saving in the womb, then it is precious for all.

  8. Reductio ad absurdum.

The “baby Hitler” scenario is absurd in that it pre-supposes pre-destination.
The child may be, indeed, the father of the man; but is the child guilty of the sins of his future?
