Yep,It’s fantastic, which brings to mind, Where does that song make you want to invade?
Honest music!
Thank you Claudia, I was fortunate enough to have a older brother that introduced me to a lot of different music, everything from Aretha to the grateful dead. Bromberg was truly memorable, I was fortunate enough to see him live several times.
If he tuned his fiddle, it would be a different piece of music.
I have it on vinyl.
First song on side 2 of Midnight On The Water.
I like it.
Great album, cardo. If you can a copy of My own house, it would be worth your time.
Great St. Patrick’s Day Medley. 1. Leather Britches 2. Red Haired Boy 3. Temperance Reel 4.? 5. Drowsy Maggie
Loved it! All of the performers were outstanding but the fiddling was incredible!
Love it!!
Definitely a toe tapper!
David Bromberg is the real deal. Try listening to the guitar work on Helpless Blues. Raw, bleeding tone from a beat-to-shit old Telecaster through a bitched-out small tube amp. I pity the current generation who have such a dearth of good music of their own. I’ve seen DB about four times in the 1980’s and will treasure those memories. He’s touring now, according to his web site.
Here’s the link – enjoy! You’re welcome!

Good beat, easy to dance to; I give it an “8”!
Very nice. In a different vein, my favorite Bromberg tune is “The Holdup,” co-written by George Harrison. Very catchy tune and clever lyrics.

Quinn, that’s a classic too.
That was wonderful — Many thanks for posting that!
