Despite Pressure, Atlanta Braves Will Not Change Team Name

Dan Bongino: Following the Washington Redskins folding on changing its name, activists have been pressuring other sports teams with names referring to Native Americans to change their names as well. However, Major League Baseball’s Atlanta Braves have no plans to do this.

  1. And Atlanta fans will still end the National Anthem with “…the home of the Braves”.

BTW you can look at the Tomahawk Chop till your eyes bleed, suits. It ain’t going away, either. Go spend your time trying to blow up Stone Mountain. That will be easier.

  2. That’s good. Now they don’t have to give up that song that starts every game. It ends with “AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE!”….However, if anyone takes a knee during that pesky song….then they will become the Atlanta GFY’s…

  3. I guess they’d really be mad if the team was named the Atlanta Injuns.

Have you ever noticed that on the Lone Ranger, Tonto is always acknowledged by “hey injun!”

I’m shocked that the mob still allows westerns to be shown in tv. I have a feeling that westerns will get the boot eventually.

  4. I’m not buying it. Enough pressure and they’ll cave.

Snyder said the same thing about the Redskins. He couldn’t take the pressure and he caved. He turned out to be a chicken shit who can’t stand up to leftist jerks.
