Acculturated: In a victimhood culture such as ours, where taking personal responsibility for bad behavior is becoming increasingly rare and where psychologists are eager to assure us that everyone has some sort of mental illness, diagnosed or otherwise, is it any wonder that celebrities are now claiming that their lack of morals is an illness?
The latest celeb to claim that he can’t be held accountable for cheating on his wife and generally acting like a rutting tomcat is rocker and reality show star Ozzy Osbourne. He explained to Rolling Stone that over the last six years, he has “been dealing with a sex addiction” and that he’s “gone into intense therapy” since earlier this year when Peoplemagazine revealed his four-year affair with hairstylist Michelle Pugh.
It’s all okay, though, because Ozzy is really, really sorry. He even offered an apology to “the other women I have been having sexual relationships with.” What he didn’t say is that he’s wrong and that he takes personal responsibility for his poor decision making. Because he’s the victim of addiction, remember? MORE
Well, I mean it CAN be an addiction, but having multiple long lasting affairs isn’t that. It’s called being a cheating dog who is in complete control of his actions. Sex addition is where you can pretty much never be friends with a woman because you’re constantly thinking about/trying to have sex with them. John Mayer is a person who I think could perhaps be diagnosed with this, maybe. Osborne? No.
I think that a pretty heavy reason some of these types of people go into these types of work.
I didn’t become a professional musician mostly because of the scumbaggery in the music world. Imagine not becoming a millionaire because you hate scumbags 🙂 That’s me!
One man’s addiction is another man’s hobby, I always say.
😛
They are moralphobes!
Not just music business. Show business, education, medical, politics; it’s everywhere. Spoiled people just not used to loyalty, morals, working through problems heck, as Nancy Reagan said, ‘Just say no!’ The ability to take responsibility and not want to screw everyone is about the only thing keeping humans out of zoos.
I hope she’s better at bj’s than she is at hairstyling.
“…he explained to Rolling Stone…”
How did they understand anything he said?

It’s not an addiction, it’s a choice. You can choose to cheat or you can choose to be faithful.

If you have never heard the word NO in your adult life this is the result.
Most politicians fall into this category
Free love generation, drugs, rock and roll,
all the above, yes choice D
Others don’t like what I do, but it is an addiction so I have no control over it.
That way I don’t have a problem, the problem is everyone else.
Once the anti-science left changed the bad habit of cigarettes to an ‘addiction’ a thousand gallons of grease got applied to this downhill slide.
Wait…
Ozzy has a hairstylist?
Sometimes, it’s easier to blame it on an addiction instead of calling it for what it really is…SIN.
Although if being addicted to Van Halen is a sin then I don’t wanna be righteous! 🤘🏻😇🤘🏻
Its only an addiction when you don’t want to do it. More like oops, got caught here’s my lame excuse.
Well it’s not for his looks…or his personality….or his sweet romantic ways….or his kind heart. Must be for his money.
Those aren’t affairs. Those are transactions with nasty creatures and his wife is probably laughing thinking she’s glad she hasn’t touched THAT in years…
Those Dirty Women!
