A top Florida state official warned Thursday that firefighters have battled a number of fires caused by electric vehicle (EV) batteries waterlogged from Hurricane Ian.

  2. @General Malaise: 500,000 stupid people moved into Florida this year. There’s 10,000 people unaccounted for. Saw a video of a citizen who went to Ft. Meyers Beach to check on 5 nuns. Don’t people who are displaced k now to go to FEMA and give them their name in case someone is looking for them? I fear that there are far more dead than they think. This is another example of people who think they’re cutting a fat hog in the ass by going solar or EV – what could go wrong? Hope they’re insured – I guess that falls under comprehensive. Not a lot of people carry it unless they’re making payments.

  3. And just yesterday Ford was announcing another price increase for their Electric F-150 Pickup Truck that Tows Fuck All with a range of up to 1/4 LESS than Fuck All when fully loaded.
