Explaining Nevada’s Dueling Nomination System

Las Vegas Review-Journal

A new law, coupled with the Nevada Republican Party’s desire to stick with its traditional way of picking a presidential nominee, resulted in two different nominating processes happening two days apart from each other. The primary will take place Tuesday, Feb. 6, and the caucus is set for Feb. 8. More

For the Nevada Republican Party, only the caucus matters, the primary is “symbolic.” Nicki Haley’s name only appears on the primary, her name is not part of the caucus. Donald Trump is not on the primary ballot, because it doesn’t matter for winning Republican delegates. His name is on the caucus. – Dr. Tar

  1. Thanks Dr. Tar.

I sent your link to Nevada family along with other info I have gathered. It was then distributed to other confused Nevadans by my sister.

You have performed a public service.

    Thank you.

  2. The media wants the rest of the nation to ignore Nevada. Nevada is a battleground state and therefore quite important to the entire nation. Republicans there need to fight the cheat come November for all that they are worth. If the democrats can fraud their way back into the W.H. they’ll be coming after those who defied them for all that they’ve got.
