Two trains derailed over the weekend in Wisconsin, both spilling fuel. The first lost 1,000 gallons of crude the second released an estimated 18,000 gallons of ethanol along the Mississippi river.
It’s not like we could have used a pipeline instead to carry this volatile cargo through our cities and countryside.
When old pal Warren Buffet owns a railroad (BNSF), pipelines are a no-no!
Where’s the picture of Zer0 crowning Buffet with a medal?
My bro calls his senator (D) ohio every time that a derailment occurs and points out that shipping oil by pipeline is much safer.
Old Warren is more, more and more equal than others. He can pollute, contaminate, not pay all his assessed taxes and still laugh all the way to the bank! Old Barach Hussein Obungbhole has his back and front and sides!
18000 gallons of booze = lots of drunk fish
Better send the EPA down there with the Cloward-Piven backhoe.
The Ethanol spill was courteous of BNSF.
It’s bad enough we’re wasting energy turning food into a gas additive that just makes your car run worse, but now we have to clean the mess from a rail spill.
I wonder if that was pure Ethanol or if they denatured it first?
Well, plus Obama has to make sure we are dependent on Middle East muzzie oil, and can be blackmailed over it in the future – to raise gas prices to astronomical levels whenever they want to “punish” us.
BNSF- Better Not Send Freight
At least it didn’t explode like the BNSF oil train in Iowa several years ago right outside a town. Another mile and hundreds could have been killed. It look like a 5,000 lbs bomb going off. I think it has been scrubbed from the internet.
This happen all the time, and I suspect more oil has been spilled in the last year in train accidents than all the pipelines combined.
Google “BNSF oil train exploding”.
This one is in North Dakota:

If people would stop driving everywhere, things like this would not happen.
Actually, you cannot transport ethanol in a pipeline. Picks up too much condensation.
The oil, well, yah, Buffet.
