Just The News-
The Georgia Republican Party on Saturday approved a resolution to censure Brad Raffensberger.
The Georgia Secretary of State “failed to perform his duties in accordance with the laws and Constitution of the State of Georgia, and Republican Party values,” according to a version of the resolution posted on Twitter by Atlanta Journal-Constitution reporter Greg Bluestein.
The resolution cited Raffensperger for “Entering into the Compromise Settlement Agreement and Release which changed Georgia’s absentee voting procedures outside the Constitutionally prescribed format set forth in Georgia law.” The resolution said that Raffensperger had undermined election security by permitting “mass mailings of absentee applications by his office and third parties which created opportunities for fraud and overwhelmed election offices; rendering accurate signature matching nearly impossible; allowing ballot drop boxes without proper chain of custody; and ignoring sworn affidavits and disregarding evidence of voter fraud.” more here
SNIP: Yeah, I know, I know. A different form of a ‘sternly written’ letter. Let’s hope that when Raffensperger wipes his ass with it, he gets a paper cut and the wound gets infected.
Or he quits. lol.
Gee. A sternly worded letter.
THAT sure makes up for naked treason that has resulted in thousands of deaths, and WILL result in millions…
You go, GOP.
…really, just GO.
You’re just part of the problem at this point, a straw man to pretend there’s opposition to evil.
No one should think youre even TRYING to do any good.
Because all you are is the magicians hand.
…either actually DO something, or fuck off.
We don’t need your Lindsey Graham impersonation.
And it didn’t make the local newspapers or TV station here in NE Atlanta.
Censured, eh? B.F.D.
Since the law won’t touch him, the least the GA GOP could have done is curb stomp both his legs. But, nooOOOoo. Censure isn’t even as serious as double secret probation.
Jefferson once spoke about the tree of liberty needing watering from the blood of patriots and tyrants, but never specified specifically in what way…The war between the states was one way, and I’m ambiguous to the trajectory the outcome put America on. Lincoln was very unpopular, and suddenly he emerges rebranded, and we know the rest.
Means nothing, but being strung up from a tree branch on live TV might get somebody’s attention.
Maybe he’ll try to eat the letter of censure and choke on it. We can only hope.
Oh my, that’s so harsh!
