Chicago is doing yet another gun buy-back and the pro 2nd Amendment group Guns Save Lives wants to participate. They are asking people to send them their worthless firearms (long rifles primarily) to cash in on Rahm’s $250,000 program.
The self-defense advocacy group pulled the same stunt on Rahm three years ago and has vowed to apply the money to “train and educate America’s next generation of gun owners.”
The mayor has vowed that this time they won’t get fooled into paying $100 for junk weapons.
My son is willing to artistically nibble at his Pop Tart.
How much do you suppose his weapon will fetch ?
We’re talking cash, right?
Is no one setting up a table in the parking lot to offer $25 more than Rahm?
How do they do a buy-back? Did the guns originally belong to Chicago? Did Chicago originally sell them? What idiots!
Background checks?
I thought it was illegal to sell a gun in Chicago without the paperwork?
That rifle just needs a couple of squirts of WD-40 and it will shoot like new.
I would paint the stock to avoid splinters, but then I am a saftey first guy
Well, I’ll say it – if that program works so well, why don’t they do a heroin buy-back program?
Some entrepreneur ought to dredge the Chicago River.
