The days of hiding secrets within legislation may soon be over.
Elon Musk, owner of social media platform X, shared Thursday that Grok, the company’s conversational generative artificial intelligence chatbot, will be soon capable of summarizing large bills passed by Congress for citizens to better understand.
“In the coming weeks, Grok will summarize these mammoth laws before they are passed by Congress, so you know what their real purpose is,” Musk wrote. More
This ALMOST sounds too good to be true, but if Musk is behind it I’ll cautiously give it a test drive. If this works as advertised it will be a yoooogely useful tool.
I also hope that Musk has the authority to strip all the PORK and WOKE CRAP out of these bills. If they want to try to get their SHIT passed, introduce it as a separate Stand Alone Bill for each item they want. NO MORE EARMARKS or AMENDMENTS that add CRAP to a major bill.
The tweet from Musk is from March 1st of 2024 and no legislation that I know of has been publicly Grok’d. I could be wrong but I would have guessed someone would have made a big deal if it was.
Stop letting lobbyists write legislation.
