Homeless Population Rises 13% in Los Angeles County in 2019 to over 66,000

Breitbart: Homelessness rose by 13% in Los Angeles County, and 14% in the City of Los Angeles itself, over the year ending in January, according to the annual homeless count released on Friday.

The Los Angeles Times reported:

The annual point-in-time count released Friday estimated the county’s homeless population at 66,433, up nearly 13% from the prior year, the second consecutive double-digit increase. The estimate for the city was 41,290, up almost 14% and only slightly less than last year’s increase of 16%.

The statistics do not reflect the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, or the city’s efforts to bring homeless people indoors during the outbreak. more

  1. The rise and location is understandable.
If you have nothing, and/or too screwed up in the head to earn a living, camping out in a Liberal city with all it freebies is a via alternative solution.

Especially since they will cast votes for their feeders and handlers.

  2. As more people are pushed out and priced out of any kind of normal bottom of the barrel where they could at least squeeze out some kind of a living you can expect to see homeless increase.

And don’t expect those pretending to be concerned about it to do anything to reverse those things they’ve done to squeeze and price the bottom end out.

  3. Too lazy to move somewhere else.

I have spoken with the young homeless in San Fran. I ask them to their face why they don’t try to work because they look healthy enough to do some type of basic job. The answer was always the same. “I don’t want to”.
