Officer David VanErem pulled over a speeder in a residential area of Green Bay, WI. on Wednesday. Jesus Roberto Ramos Sanchez got out of his car in his parent’s driveway and refused to cooperate with the officer.
I hope that’s a mega wedgie the officer is using to restrain the suspect.
VanErem arrested and handcuffed Sanchez who still squirmed and kept trying to evade the officer’s search of his pockets. Video of the arrest was posted to Facebook and had 100,000 hits by the next day.
They claim Sanchez had broken a collar bone last year and the rough handling during his arrest was causing him pain.

The Green Bay PD completely backs officer VanErem.
Even the ACLU says “VanErem’s actions would not have violated Green Bay’s police manual on arrest or use of force.”
When you notice the officer is armed, pissed, and twice your size, that’s when you’re supposed to become cooperative, polite, and remorseful. Could save you a few bruises and a wedgie.
