Investigation Reveals Oxfam Prostitution Scandal in Haiti

‘Like a Full-On Caligula Orgy,’

Dangerous: The British government has ordered Oxfam to hand over documents on staff that paid for sex, possibly with children, during recovery efforts in Haiti following the 2010 earthquake

The Times of London published an investigation that showed senior Oxfam officials hired sex workers while in Haiti.

Oxfam receives £300 million ($414 million) a year in British taxpayer funds and public donations. The report uncovered by the Times showed three men resigned and four others were fired “for gross misconduct after an inquiry into sexual exploitation, the downloading of pornography, bullying and intimidation.

The 2011 report also concluded children may have been among those who were sexually, stating “It cannot be ruled out that any of the prostitutes were under-aged.”

One of the men who resigned was Roland van Hauwermeiren, the 68-year-old country director for Oxfam. Van Hawermeiren admitted to paying for sex at a villa rented for him by Oxfam.   read more

  1. It was Pimp Daddy Clinton running that particular operation with Roger the Soprano handling all those juicy business contracts. Somebody ouht to grab those two bag them and leave them on the tarmac of Port-Au-Prince’s airport. Let the natives take their well deserved revenge. And maybe make them into Zombies. Cool.

  2. I hope all those that participated catch five kinds of syphilis, three varieties of chlamydia, two types of herpes, and HIV/AIDS. And die a slow, lingering, painful death.

  3. Common practice in Haiti. Families pimp their prettiest daughters and sons to wealthy perverts who become patrons and literally pay for sex with groceries. Thw true face of desperation in a 3rd world country. Go to any of the resorts in the Caribbean and you’ll see older men with young girls trailing behind them, dressed in brand new clothes but no poise or confidence. They’re used for a month and discarded, left with a baby and a venereal disease. Then their families don’t take them back and they have to resort to open prostitution until they can find something else.
