‘I’ve never smoked!’: Comedian Kathy Griffin diagnosed with lung cancer

46 Comments on ‘I’ve never smoked!’: Comedian Kathy Griffin diagnosed with lung cancer

  1. I went to the doctor 2-4 times a year for over 20 years because of second-hand smoke.

You may not have ever smoked, Kathy – me either – but how often were you in smoke-filled rooms in your life?

I grew up with smokers and married one. I did not know second hand smoke was the main factor in my life-long respiratory problems until my home was smoke free.

BECAUSE THEY DON’T TELL YOU WHAT A DANGER IT IS!

Not one respiratory problem since 1998 now.

  2. Remember when this crappola started with Covid and Griffin went to Mexico and was hospitalized sick when she returned. Remember how she blamed Trump for her problems? Supposedly she claimed to be sick with covid.

It’s not all that bad Kathy, you got the jab, what’s your complaint? GBTW, my SIL niece, who is a medical doctor, got her degree from UC Davis. Two weeks after graduation, and after 3 months of a persistent cough, she was diagnosed with lung cancer at the age of 25. Never smoked either. It’s common to see lung cancer in people who did not smoke.

What goes around comes around. Another one with the Trump curse.

  3. If one of us got cancer – or Trump, or his famliy – this ghoulish bozo would be laughing all over the Internet, holding our severed heads.

She got lung cancer from spewing her poison.

  4. Was she virtue signaling wearing a mask much of the last year? We are going to see a lot more cases of lung cancer. Breathing in particles and whatever is in the Petri dish you wear on your face while lowering your oxygen level is basically a recipe for lung disease.

  5. She never smoked a joint? For some reason, smoking a joint of marijuana or crack cocaine is never seen as a contributor to lung problems. Cigarettes and cigars are always the blamed, even when the victim never smoked either, but smoked grass.

  6. Second hand smoke?
How about second hand brake dust?
    How about second hand asbestos?
    How about second hand silica?
Ever looked at an A/C filter? An industrial one?
Lungs are getting shat in every single second of every single day – every breath you take – count on it.
Even fresh air is filled with pollen, mold, dust, and other shit.

    Nobody gets out alive.

  7. I would wager that the bitch is likely lying thru her teeth for attention. There is no doubt that she is that despicable. And when she has a “magical recovery” it will bring false hope to legitimate sufferers who, in reality, have no chance.

  8. I’m just waiting for her old tweets or whatever about Rush Limbaugh’s lung cancer to surface.

And thanks for the heads-up about your jab compliance, Kathy. Probably had nothing to do with your lung cancer, but nothing new about the side effects of the jab would surprise me now.

  9. It would be cruel irony if it could be shown that she got her lung cancer from the not-a-vaxx injection(s). I wonder what her timeline is from the time she got The Jab, and when the doctors detected her lung cancer? Maybe we could start a (non)rumor, “KATHY G GOT LUNG CANCER AFTER GETTING JABBED!”

  10. …it’s tempting to celebrate at times like this when an actual cancer gets rid of a political cancer that would seemingly last forever otherwise, and I’ll admit that I have done so in the past, a recent example being gloating a bit when a glioblastoma rid us of Kennedy, and then McCain. It’s a rare one, so it’s OK to make fun of politicos who die of it, right? No ACTUAL human beings get it, right?

…well, I got back from a family trip last week, an unexpected one we took suddenly to visit my wife’s aunt, the last of that generation of her paternal line.

Because she’s dying of a glioblastoma.

It’s a nasty, vicious, virtually incurable disease, and we were told we needed to make the trip toot sweet if we wanted to see her as anything but a pain wracked, demented, quadriplegic seizure patient with no memory or ability to communicate.

We did. She’s at peace with it even though she knows all this, and is refusing probably worthless treatments because she says she’s ready to go home to the Lord.

    God Bless her.

…so I don’t think I’ll be making sport of cancer again any time soon. The devil evidently heard me the last time, and that’s enough.

…as for lung cancer, I lost my sister-in-law many years ago to it so I know a bit there, too. She did smoke, but the oncologists said it was “small cell” lung cancer that probably wasn’t caused by that. Just a “win” of the genetic lottery, I suppose. She was at peace with the Lord too and died unconscious, which was small comfort to those of us who got to see her foam to death from the ensuing pneumonia that drown her in her own lungs.

Her 8 year old special needs daughter, my 7 year old nephew, 6 year old son, and my wife and her mother were not NEARLY as at peace with it as she was, tho.

Its an evil I’d not even wish on a Democrat.

I won’t mourn Kathy Griffin. From what I can see is that she’s a horrible person that served the devil as hard as she could for as long as she could, and even now wants someone else to blame.

No, I don’t love her, at all.

    But someone does.

    And so does God.

The Lord wants her back, wants her to turn to Him, even now. He wants all to repent and be forgiven, even her, so they can be with Him in Heaven.

Who am I to defy the Lord.

So I will pray for her to find the Lord in her death bed, repent of her life, and wash all her sin off in the Blood of the Lamb while she still can. Nothing else makes ANYONE worthy of Heaven.

I won’t tell you to do so. I leave it to your own conscience as to whether to follow the Lord’s will in this or not as you see fit.

    But I would not mock.

    The devil is listening.

So you might, as I have been, in this and in many other things, get mocked right back…

  11. @ srdem65: There’s a big difference between smoking marijuana and cigarettes. With cigarettes, it doesn’t get you high and some are able to smoke 2-3 packs of cigs a day everyday. Whereas with weed, if you have the good stuff, maybe 2-3 hits off a joint and you’re good to go for a few hours. That’s the difference. If she smokes weed, she’s probably in better shape than if she had smoked nicotine.

  12. The weird thing was that “Kathy Griffin says she is undergoing surgery for lung cancer” was under “ENTERTAINMENT” on my e-mail web page.

I thought “Damn! You people are on some sick entertainment!”

Much as I despise her, lung cancer can’t be entertaining.

“Also, she has never been funny, yet is still incorrectly called a, “comedian”.”

…everything the Democrats do is a joke.

    …a long, sick, black joke.

…with this kind of build, the punchline should be AMAZING.

…ask THIS guy what happend when those funny, funny Communists got to the point before…

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”
-Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn, “The Gulag Archipelago”

  14. Watched my dad suffer through lung cancer, smoked 2/3 packs of cigs since he was 14.
A man who never said a bad thing about his fellow man.
I would pay a significant ticket fee to watch this nasty shrike suffer the way my dad did.
    Brutal? God I hope so.

  15. To the Female members:

Hairspray, Nail Polish, Nail polish remover, and all those beauty products.
Sincerely, they take a toll on your lungs girls.

Men can’t walk into a room when you use apply items without our eyes & lungs burning.

It is serious, esp. the older hairsprays, they had deadly chemicals in them in the 50’s to 70’s. CPVC etc.

  16. As much as I immensely dislike this woman I wouldn’t wish cancer on her or anybody else whether they’re conservative or liberal or whatever. My wife died from leukemia and I have too many friends who also lost their spouses to cancer who they were married to for many years in the past year or two. Cancer sucks, and I don’t care who you are or what your politics or lifestyle or worldview are, it’s not a good thing for anybody to go thru.

  17. Maybe she never smoked tobacco……but I’ll bet my next paycheck she’s smoked a TON of unfiltered marijuana joints…..You can get cancer just as easily from that as you can from cigarettes.
