Jesuit Priest on Pope’s Health: It’s the ‘Beginning of the End’

Neon Nettle: Jesuit Father Thomas Reese has warned that Pope Francis’ recent hospitalization has marked “the beginning of the end of his papacy.”

Father Thomas Reese said time “is running out” for the Pope.

Father Reese, who recently urged his followers to support “pro-choice Democrats,” said Francis pontificate will only succeed “if he is followed by popes who are in sync with his approach to Catholicism, and this is not guaranteed.”

He has appointed sympathetic men to the College of Cardinals, but conclaves are unpredictable as his own election showed,” Reese warns.

The priest also made claims that Francis has treated his opponents “with the gentleness of a pastor who hopes for their conversion,” adding that he refuses to fire people.” more

  1. I don’t wish death on Francis, but I wish he’d hurry up and resign. He does no good for the Catholic church, and has made statements and policies that are dangerously close to heresy, if not over that line already.

  2. The priest also made claims that Francis has treated his opponents “with the gentleness of a pastor who hopes for their conversion,” adding that he refuses to fire people.”

This is disgusting. He wants the conversion of people from “opposition” to “pro-choice Democrats,” WTF?!?

Here and I thought, the papacy at the very least held the most basic biblical idea of wanting to convert worldly unbelief into Christian belief.

“Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: all therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, and love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭23:1-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  3. Amen!

Prov 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the Torah, even his prayer shall be abomination.

Torah = instruction from the most High on living a set apart life by His peculiar possession Israel/Jacob. Torah, aka “law”, has NEVER been, nor can it be, a requirement for THE Salvation provided before creation began. Torah *IS HOW* we Love the Most High as HE REQUIRES, eternally. It is the means by which you become covenanted with Him: Emunah (Trust + Obedience). It is not the physical/mechanical “doing” of the Torah, but, the heartfelt desire to please, serve and obey our Father in Heaven which shows the “circumcised heart” by the Set Apart (holy) spirit which you now have (Deut 10:16, Jer 4:4, Acts 7:51, and more). This is the promise of the Renewed Covenant (Jer 31:31-34; Ezek 36:21-29; Heb 8:10-12).

Deut 10:12 And now, Israel, what doth יהוה thy Elohim require of thee, but to fear יהוה thy Elohim, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve יהוה thy Elohim with all thy heart and with all thy soul, 13 To keep the commandments of יהוה, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

Deut 30:15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; 16 In that I command thee this day to love יהוה thy Elohim, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and יהוה thy Elohim shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. 17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other elohim, and serve them; 18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it. 19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: 20 That thou mayest love יהוה thy Elohim, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which יהוה sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

I John 2:3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of YHWH is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. 7 Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning.

I John 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of יהוה, when we love יהוה, and keep his commandments. 3 For this is the love of יהוה, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Luke 10:25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? 27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love יהוה thy Elohim with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. 28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

Matt 22:35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, 36 Rabbi, which is the great commandment in the Torah? 37 Yahushua said unto him, Thou shalt love יהוה thy Elohim with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the Torah and the prophets.

So, the two greatest commandments, on which the whole of the Torah and prophets are begat is Deut 6:4+ and Num 19:18. The Torah is the Love manual for this life, which we all have sought and teaches us how to Love the Most High Elohim of Israel.

His set apart spirit is not confused nor does it cause confusion. It is the pride, arrogance and trusting in the opinion of man which causes division. If you have to mentally stretch, warm up and limber yourself before providing evidentiary support for your theology/religion, then it is false. In showing us the end from the beginning (Isa 46:10), we know that it is mankind which still twists, folds and doubts the simple and plain (surface) reading of His Word (Jer 44:28). This does not negate the deeper layers of meaning within His AWESOME wisdom and knowledge, but, it is the starting point on which we must build as we grow in knowing Him (Jer 31:33-34, Matt 7:21-23).

Gen 2:16 And יהוה Elohim commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Gen 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which יהוה Elohim had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath Elohim said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, Elohim hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

What exactly has changed since THIS event? We still look for loopholes in His Word, serving our desires vs Him. It is the same cycle of rebellion since the beginning (Eccl 1:9; 3:15). What is THE MOST COMMON concept from scripture? Isn’t it that we should trust Him, and that what He commands is for our good, not too difficult for us, to walk in His Way to be blessed and receive eternal life. How many iterations and varied phrasings does He tell us to hearken and obey that which was, is and is to be the Torah of His Kingdom? But, somehow, religion comes up with YHWH giving into His petulant children and taking The Eternal Way out of the way, as to use diverse weights and measures for one group over another. Another one of those things “formerly known as an abomination” to Him.

If you have to ignore, sidestep and twist plain concepts:

    Immutable, unchanging, eternal
does not lie or change His mind AS MEN DO
Has One means to weigh and measure (judge) and it is eternal and perfect
    One covenant people
    Cyclic History
Messiah Prophet likened unto Moses, would speak ONLY that which YHWH (I change not) gave Him to speak
Torah (“law”) of YHWH = Torah of Moses = Torah of Messiah
    much more…

Invent or usurp words to shoehorn your theology:

“jesus” for Yeshua/Yahshua/Yahoushua (Salvation/YAH will save)
    “christ” for Messiah/Annointed
“sunday” for THE Sabbath, the Eternal sign for YHWH’s covenanted people, to all generations, native born or grafted in
“christian” for Messianic, biblical Hebraic “faith” in the promised Hebrew/Jewish Seed/King of Israel (not rabbinic judaism)
“church” for Qahal/Ekklesia – THE called out assembly is Israel/Jacob’s tent (not the secular nation)
    “easter” for Passover/Pesach
“pentecost” for Shavuot or YHWH’s feast of weeks
“baptism” for Immersion / Mikvah ie Yochannan (“john”) the Immerser
    there are more…

Then you NEED to question your doctrine. We ALL need to continually test our own understanding against His Word.

All religion speaks (loudly) as the Harlot Queen, proclaiming that they shall see no suffering (Rev 18:7). Yet not one of the empty and vain platitudes of religion has the power to convict your soul in the sins which we all walk, to cause you to change the way you think, act, react and [re]turn to His eternal, unchanging Way. Is it religion I should trust or YHWH? We must pray to our Saviour that we might be counted worthy to escape the trial to come upon the whole world (Luke 21:36; Rev 3:10).

I am fully cognisant that I do not have complete/full understanding of every aspect of His Eternal Way. It would take a lifetime of lifetimes to scratch the surface of the depth, width and height of YHWH. But, the macro view of who He is, expressed in progressive revelation from Genesis to Malachi, is undeniable. This view is even codified to the highest level within the writings of the Apostles. There is a veritable tsunami of His Word vs man’s religion. That which is most popular with the “professing believers” has always been the furtherest from His Word. Creation is a faint shadow copy of the kingdom and mankind is Satan, still fallen by pride and covetousness, twisting YHWH’s Word to fit our desires. Elevating any doctrine or tradition above His Word is tantamount to placing yourself on the throne instead of Him.

YHWH bless thee, and keep thee: YHWH make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: YHWH lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

What’s the most common prayer that everyone knows? The lords prayer time.
“Our father, who art in heaven. Hallowed be thy name.”

I find it curious in all of your postings that you never once said his name. You used titles, you used abbreviations, you even used the heat break unspeakable name of God. But you never said his name.
How can his name be set apart, if you don’t even know what it is?

“and I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.”
    ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭6:3‬ ‭KJV

“That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, Art the Most High over all the earth.”
    ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭83:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭26:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    ‬‬say his name

  5. The only reason the bishops voted for him was because South American had never had anyone installed as Pope.
This is a great example of what happens when you use quotas and such.
They ended up with a leader who doesn’t believe the Bible and who promoted godless communism.

  6. The Catholic Church is one of the richest, and quite possibly one of the most evil forms of religion on the planet. When this communist turd makes his journey to hell, a good number of all the other popes will be there to greet him.

…They dug one up once to put his corpse on trial to please a patron king once, then cut off his blessing fingers and threw the rest of the body in the river.

…nice to know political influence never changes I guess, unless it isn’t…

That was just pretext for installing this Marxist infiltrator in the Vatican. The same case could have been made for a couple African Bishops who would have made an outstanding Pope. Fact of the matter, they would have been my first choice.

  9. An abomination for its sake is still an abomination.

When he stands before God and Jesus Christ the answer will be “depart this place as we never knew thee…”

I include His name in everything I post, just because you do not equate it to His name does not negate my usage. I also do not attest whether the pronunciation which I use is THE ABSOLUTE correct way to pronounce. It is, however, the way I will pronounce and use them until, **IF** I am blessed, I hear it from His own lips.

I believe that I have even included in a post (some time ago) regarding the almost 7K times He reminds us of His Set Apart name. The simple implication being to know it, live it and LOVE IT!

Unlike Judah (judaism), I pronounce the Tetragrammaton as YAHWeh when I read it.

The ONLY begotten of the Father is YAHshuah, Yeshua and all the titles associated with each.

There is only the Way of YHWH, through the door that is His Son, our King and Messiah Yahshua / Yeshua (Salvation). He is the Way, Truth and the Life which is used to describe both Messiah and Torah. The Word (Torah) became flesh and no man can divide in twain.

YHWH bless and keep you and yours, in all which you put your hand
    Peace be unto you

“We were spoiled by John Paul II.”

…he was a nice man, but if you ever were subjected to a guitar mass you’d realize that at least SOME of the reforms of John were pretty stupid…
