21. I’m outraged at the report the judge gave the police: 3 black men with guns and masks. Describing these individuals as black? That’s a racist dog whistle if I ever heard one, and does nothing but reinforce the stereotype of blacks as violent criminals. And describing them as “men” – how does this judge know how these perpetrators sexually identify themselves. Did she ask them? Maybe they identify as female, or non-gender, or some sort of transgender – the use of the word “men” is insulting and insensitive to these young people. Also, the reference to “guns” is frightening; perhaps the 911 dispatcher is terrified of guns and may not have access to a safe place. And I’m sure that the judge, married to an attorney, is in a high socio-economic class and reporting these persons to the police is elitist.

    This judge was sexist, racist, elitist and committed numerous microagressions in claiming that 3 black men with masks and guns were in her house. I think she should turn in her liberal card and resign as a judge.
