Man Says He Will Shoot To Kill Anyone Who Shows Up To Falsely Evict Him From His Property – IOTW Report

Man Says He Will Shoot To Kill Anyone Who Shows Up To Falsely Evict Him From His Property

UPDATE: This is a better back story in Visner’s own words. Go To the 6 minute mark.

Back Story –

In short, the guy entered into some sort of land deal with a woman at the Sheriff’s Dept. (He built his home on land he was leasing from her and she stopped making payments to the bank on the land.)

While he was away she put a sign on the street saying that the house was abandoned and the contents of the home were up for grabs. People picked his house clean of every possession the man owned.

Now everyone wants him out.

I’m still unclear as to what the original deal was and what went wrong, all I know is this guy claims that he’s being railroaded by a corrupt Sheriff’s Dept. and he’s going to start shooting if anyone shows up to get him out. (His wife left and took his kids for safety reasons.) He considers it the first shot in a revolution, but a revolution against who?

  1. He can be balanced out by our mega lefty neighbor who remodeled an Agricultural Outbuilding without permits. Although he supports every lefty candidate and lefty issue, he does not want to pay taxes on his own home. Well. Tax Assessor came snooping around. Mega lefty told Tax Assessor to get the hell off his property and that if he ever saw Assessor on his property again, Coroner would haul Assessor outta there. Pretty strong words for a guy who does not believe anyone else should own a gun.

  2. I think the guy needs to make a video where he explains in 6th grade level language what happened and then show some documentation to back his claims up.

I believe he was hosed, but by who and for what reason?

Calling this a “revolution” is a bit of a stretch. It might very well be, but if I’m like the average person of average intelligence it’s hard to see clearly defined battle lines of “this group” against “this group.”

What group am I joining if I join Vixler’s “revolution” and what are we fighting for?
This seems like a unique and bizarre situation.
It’s not like “he said-she said” land deals involving the Sheriff’s Dept. are sweeping the nation.

  3. Pete Santilli is on the case –
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ukp1Le_uOw

He’s calling this a case of “banksters” unlawfully foreclosing on homes.
But I read earlier that the woman stopped making payments on the land and the bank foreclosed, not unlawfully, but lawfully.

I can get behind a revolution in a heartbeat, but not when the details are fuzzy.

I know the guy is wearing a Don’t Tread On Me hat and he’s citing the “Tree of Liberty” quote, but I’m not Pavlov’s dog.
I want to know the entire story.
There might be one or two things in this story that are game changers.
Before I lend my full weight behind a guy who is talking about shooting authorities, maybe we should have all the tees crossed.

(the wife leaving is an interesting angle.)

  4. You had the same questions I did, Fur. Did the wife leave him because he’s a crackpot or is she afraid for herself and her kids if the law is really out to get him?

He sounds rationale, but without documentation, who knows? He claims the court proceeding to foreclose him never happened, so there is record of that anyway!

Either way, this video just bought him some major scrutiny of the local jurisdiction and may have saved his life. One of the commenters said he sent a copy of the video to the state militia. The video following this one was the local radio station talking about the case, which sounds to be getting lots of attention via FB.

  5. My knee-jerk reaction is to side with this guy. I HATE the government and bureaucracy and all the cronyism that goes along with it. So, I’m rooting for Visner.
But I need a Trey Gowdy to ride in on a horse and explain this shit.
    I trust him.

  6. You trust Trey Gowdy? He of the endless investigations?? With not one arrest? He’s as bad as Issa. Who voted for current House leadership and almost always with Boehner?

Yeah he’s had some memorable youtube clips but where’s the beef?

CR does give him an 85% which is decent but until I see someone cuffed and lead out of one of his committees, I don’t trust him at all. It’s like Boehner is telling him to shout, look a squirrel.

  7. My trust of Gowdy to explain a case and to explain the law is mutually exclusive to what he’s been able to gain politically.
One thing has nothing to do with the other.

  8. This is my understanding as well.
I get a sense that this might be a guy that screwed himself with a bad decision from day one and now he’s quoting Thomas Jefferson.
I want him to get his due process. If he’s been denied that I’m with the guy.
But maybe he has gotten his due process.
    I dunno.
I’m not a lawyer and I don’t know everything there is to know about this case.
I want him to win. But I’m not going to stand behind the guy when he’s shooting people when I have no idea what I’m talking about.

  9. It seems to me this man has property with no land in which to put it. He’s sort of living the age old problem of, If you had everything where would you put it? but with a lot less of everything.

  10. Maybe he built a house on land he purchased on ‘contract’ and the owner lost the land for unknown reasons. We have a farm like this but if we lose it it goes back to the owner. We pay the taxes on it which is part of the deal. If that wasnt in his and her written agreement and he builds and the owner didnt pay property taxes he’s out his money and land. OR maybe he bought it on contract and started building a house on it and THAT wasn’t in the contract he’s again S.O.L.

  11. Just for starters, Why would you BUILD on Leased Land.Is it leased with option to Buy? Something fishy. In Michigan I thought you had to have at min portion or all of land paid for before permits are given to build.Nothing but Rules.Good thing to Question.

  12. Fools are born every day, that doesn’t give away their right to fair compensation.
Something doesn’t smell right, I’m guessing the woman is up to no good, just my take.
The bank is foreclosing, I bet the woman never told them about Mr.Visner, that is why he wasn’t involved in the foreclosure proceedings.
Won’t be any pro bono work for this guy, i’m guessing the bank is in the clear and if the woman quit making payments, her pockets aren’t deep enough.

  13. If its a Contract its not considered leased its a purchasing agreement. But the land is not yours until its paid for in full. But the owner can have all kinds of demands inside the contract like if you want to built or tear down a barn etc. you cant if it says stuff like that in it.

  14. He also explains that his beef is not with the bad deal he made, it’s with the Sheriff’s department acceptance of the word of one of its employees and the action they took based on that word.
But he also says that the property is his, which I’m not sure is the case.

  15. What “fair compensation?” If I build MY house on YOUR land, I can either remove it, or it’s YOURS. If the bank is foreclosing, I have to assume that he has the opportunity to purchase the land (unless it has oil or diamonds in it).

To reiterate: don’t know all the facts.

  16. Ahh, okay! I thought this was going to maybe wind up being a Tony Kiritsis case. In Indianapolis Tony owed a payment on his apartment complex and the banker and the bankers son wanted the complex to sell for alot of money so they swindled Tony. Tony took and wired a shotgun to the bankers head and the news played it and every other word was F$&k. I remember that like it was yesterday. They wanted him to take a mental test and he never did. They railroaded him big time.

  17. Houses can be moved. I’d concentrate on living long enough to sue the cloaca in the sheriff’s dept. (cloaca is a combination vagina and ahole, we have way too many entitled crazy holes)

Getting shot by the sheriff, his swat team is not going to do him or his house any good.

He deserves a “gofundme” deal so that he can relocate to a prime spot and surround his house with signs about the thievery there. IMAO

  18. I feel for the guy.
However if he really wanted to protect his assets he could have waited until he could have a legal to deal on which to build his dream.
I’m not saying he isn’t getting screwed, but the ‘Do not build your Castle on shifting sands’ axiom comes to mind.
The Old ‘handshake seals the deal’ days went out with hanging horse thieves.

  19. What’s that metal band he is wearing in that second vid? A mind control blocker or something? Also, I looked back and in one of his twitter posts, he didn’t build that house, he was buying it. He says he is a custom house builder, but I can’t find his business.

  20. That’s true, he has quite a quick legal mind.

But still, people have been lying to his face having raised their hand and sworn to tell the truth. That will continue to happen until he takes the bull by the horns but that is not going to do that because he’s firmly in Boehner’s camp. It’s pretty obvious to me that if there’s no fear of any kind of repercussion for telling bald faced lies, then people will continue to do it.

So to me, it’s nothing more then grandstanding when you build this excellent legal case, to say nothing of the logic he employs in his arguments, and then? Pffft, nada damn thing.

  21. I only watched the first quarter of the first video, and a few minutes of the other video after the 6 minute mark, because I wasn’t quite buying this guy’s story, after awhile.

“I have conducted many handshake deals between people and… had successful dealings that way.”

Well, I have walked through train tunnels many times without ever seeing a train coming, too.

“At this time, we didn’t know that Shelly Sweet worked for the sheriff’s department…”

You entered into a handshake land deal with someone and you didn’t even know where she worked??

“…freezers full of food… I think they were full of food – I’ll have to look at my notes… but freezer, anyway, uh, upright freezer…”

First of all was it “freezers,” or was it “a freezer?” And you have to look at your notes to remember whether it was (or they were) full of food or not?

This guy ain’t quite right, somehow. But I would still like to read the Readers’ Digest version, written by a trustworthy source. (Of course, my “trustworthy source” list can be printed on a matchbook cover, these days.)

  22. This transaction should be recorded at the local courthouse. If indeed he owns the home, then he will have the opportunity to purchase the land at Sheriff’s sale. Even if the bank buys it back they may be willing to work with him. If he did just buy something “on a handshake,” then he is an idiot and I have zero sympathy for him. This is Exhibit 1 as to why you work with an experienced Realtor.

  23. He looked at it at least part of the time, but he did so with his head turned, so it appeared that he was looking away. You have to look closely at the eyes.
He did look away a lot though. Sounds like the guy went off half-cocked with the videos, without exploring all his options.
