Megyn Kelly takes issue with ‘NYT’ book review

USA TODAY-–The New York Times published a review of Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly’s memoir, Settle for More, after obtaining an early copy of the book scheduled to be published on Nov. 15. Kelly disputes The Times’ characterization of two sections of her book; one which implies she said someone leaked Trump her first question in the first primary debate; and another that implies she thought she may have been poisoned the morning of the same debate.

Kelly writes that Trump was livid the day before the first debate of the Republican primary campaign after he heard that Kelly’s planned first question “was a very pointed question directed at him,” The Times reports. “This disconcerted her, because it was true: It was about his history of using disparaging language about women,” The Times wrote. While she doesn’t delve into who might have leaked the question, the book gives the clear impression that former Fox New CEO Roger Ailes and others within the network “seemed to be nakedly colluding with the Republican presidential nominee,” according to The Times.

Kelly went on Twitter late Thursday to shoot down the inference that the question was leaked.  MORE

  1. Megyn Kelly seems to have a habit of taking issue against something and when that “issue” bites back, she cries ans takes issue with it right back, like she is justified. She has been playing the journalist-commentator ping-pong game for so long we all see it.

  2. I DVR O’Reilly/Kelly/Hannity as a 3 hour block every night. Kelly’s anti-Trump schtick had gotten so dramatic (“How can you tell your daughter you voted for a man who said vile things?” – night after night) that I’ve taken to completely fast forwarding through her show. Fuck her.

  3. This is pure BS buzz designed to create a minor demand for her waste-of-processed-tree-carcass right before it streets.

She’s looking for the highest bidder ($20 Million+) when her FNC contract expires.

Boys, if you want titillation, forget the book and listen instead to her interview with Howard Stern.
    🙂

  4. I dvr Hannity and I’ve noticed that Kelly’s time slot has shifted over to Hannity’s; so much so that every Hannity recording, lately, has kelly boosting her book right before Hannity’s show starts. Just started happening about a week ago. I don’t have the recording set to start early, either.

  5. Can’t stand listening to her biased airheadedness. The Howard Stern show interview exposed her as just another Faux Bimbo. She was bleeding from her whatever when she assulted Trump. The debates were rigged. The only one properly conducted was the last one with Wallace. Why the Republicans consented to be in debates with the MSDM is beyond my comprehension. I get a real laugh out of the sexy outfits she’s been wearing lately, and change the channel as quickly as possible to something else, or open a good book. I’ll never open hers though.
