Of course, she didn’t answer his question directly, but the answer she did give made no sense.
Townhall: Sen. Elizabeth Warren was put on the spot Wednesday during a CNN town hall event over the fairness of her student loan debt forgiveness plan.
“Nobody forced these students to take out a loan, so should it not be their responsibility to pay them back?” asked Chris Middleton, a Navy veteran and construction consultant. “Why am I, a taxpayer who joined the military to pay for my college education, start paying for other people’s college education? And to that extent, should you cancel my mortgage debt?” MORE
“I signed up to make somebody else pay my way!
So fnck those leeches!”
And she thinks this is most important for votes,,,
must have a hubcap for a IUD,,
So Sad,
Actually, hope so…
Dear Liz,
I already paid off my student loan.
Can I get a refund?
Thanks,
Z
I spent a goodly portion of my retirement savings in order to make sure my late-in-life student daughter would be able to obtain an education without being saddled with an onerous student debt loan.
So…is Elizabeth Warren going to pay me back for all that money I spent?
Two chances, I figure.
I didn’t go to kolledge but I could use a new truck!

I usually don’t bother to respond to AC comments, but I’ll make yours an exception.
100% of the compensation for people in the U.S. military forces comes from us taxpayers, so calling them leeches for taking the govt/taxpayers up on the offered deal of GI Bill education bennies is pretty stupid.
And that’s what it is: a deal over 3+ years commitment to taking the oath and being a soldier, sailor, marine, airman, or coastie – with a chance of dying during that time – in exchange for defined pay, health care, and other benefits. It’s not that different from other employment deals, except for the dying part.
Your knee jerked so hard on this one that I think you whacked your balls with your heel.
I can hardly wait for the barnyard clucking and crowing to simmer down after stupor Tuesday. Many of the noisemakers will leave the stage so we can focus on the real target. Liz Warren ain’t it.
That’s when the real fun begins.

Thank you for saying it so succinctly. It, obviously and unfortunately, needs to be said from time to time.
Well done. Thank you.
Dear Liz: even Comrade Bernie isn’t stupid enough to pick you for VP
… buh bye
@Dadof4 – You’re welcome, and thanks for your kind words.
Hey, Liz—It’s not your f*cking money.
@Uncle Al: What Dadof4 said times 100. Bravo.
P.S. – Not only do I not bother to respond to anonymous comments, I normally skip over them without reading, same as the ones by the “work at home and get rich” trolls. I wouldn’t even know about this one if you hadn’t mentioned it.

Yeah, it’s not fair to pay for other people’s tuition. That’s also the opinion I had in college. I didn’t want to get into student loans to pay tuition, but tried to earn money on a website https://studyhippo.com/essays-by-categories/ where students can find many essays. A website where students can find essays by category. I needed any kind of income, because I didn’t want to take a loan and then give away crazy sums.
