The New York Times, Washington Post and NBC News all issued retractions Saturday for their coverage of Rudy Giuliani following a raid of his Manhattan apartment by the FBI.
The Times appended their correction to a story about the role Giuliani may have played in the 2019 recall of ambassador Marie L. Yovanovitch and whether he received a warning from the FBI about Russian disinformation.
“An earlier version of this article misstated whether Rudolph W. Giuliani received a formal warning from the F.B.I. about Russian disinformation. Mr. Giuliani did not receive such a so-called defensive briefing,” The Times wrote Saturday in a note attached to the piece. more

They retract it days later on the back page. Basically, they’re informing the scumbag left base what lies they’re supposed to tell now. None of their readers gives a shit about the retraction nor the accuracy of the original story. That’s not the game these communist motherfuckers are playing. Where is the line drawn between the Press that is afforded the Constitutional Privilege of Freedom of the Press and those who claim they are the Press but are nothing more than peddlers of lies, fabrications and unsolicited opinions? It seems to me there are no consequences for those that peddle lies. But are they really “The Press”? I understand that those outlets have a First Amendment Right to freedom of speech and I support that right even if I disagree. However, that right comes with a responsibility. The First Amendment does not afford any citizen the the ability to freely make libelous, damaging statements, for example, with there being consequences.
It occurs to me that those who make libelous declarations, outright lie etc… under the cover of the “Freedom of Press” do not suffer a similar consequence for their transgressions. Why is that? Should the Press be held to a different standard than the citizen? The exploitation and perversion of our Constitutional Rights for any purpose, is more dangerous than than any traitor could ever be.
The DOJ won’t issue THEIR retraction until after Rudy racks up millions in legal defense fees. Just ask Ge. Flynn.
These filthy leftist purveyors of lies say whatever they want with no repercussions, and if they do by chance get sued, they stall in court for years. Meanwhile, conservative outlets like The Federalist and American Thinker grovel before corporate lawyers after getting threatening letters and immediately take away our voice in the comments section without so much as a whimper. Something is severely out of whack.
I believe they print the lies on purpose because they know no one will read the retractions they bury later.

I have been “arguing” with someone on YouTube who says “They only made a mistake and they have corrected it.”
I pointed out that there was only one source for information and the press did absolutely nothing to corroborate the information as they should have learned in Journalism 1A. As of now I have not heard back from him.
