Petition to Remove Klansman From Public Square – IOTW Report

Petition to Remove Klansman From Public Square

There is a petition on Change.com to the state of West Virginia to remove Robert Byrd’s name from all the many projects, buildings and roads he pork-barrelled for his state. Senator Byrd (W. Viriginia- D) was one of the longest serving senators in history and still holds the record for time served in Washington when you combine his time in both the House and Senate (57 years).

Robert Byrd also organized a chapter of the Ku Klux Klan in West Virginia and was unanimously elected the leader of that chapter, making him an Exalted Cyclops.

Senator Byrd was the Lead Democrat in the Senate in the 1980s when they were in the majority and the minority and their Senate Whip in the 70s.

  1. Bobby Byrd was a proud, racist, Demonrat, socialist, corrupt maggot.

He hated negroes, working people, coal miners, shop keepers, and Chinks, but, unlike the present Demonrat Party cowards – Hillary Clinton, Steny Hoyer, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Mitch McConnell, John Beohner, JEB Bush, Howard Dean, and Debbie Washerwoman-Shlutz – he wasn’t afraid to say it out loud.

(he hated union workers but loved the union bosses)

  2. Why stop with Slave holders and Klan members?
Ban all high schools, freeway ramps, statues, libraries and any other memorial named for murderers (Kennedy) & Rapists (Clinton) too.

  3. I suspect many of you live, as I do, in or near a School District that has a Woodrow Wilson High School or Woodrow Wilson Middle School.

Here is the text of a simple email I sent to The Tacoma Public Schools School Board Members and Superintendent as well as Tacoma’s Mayor:

Subject: Time to remove the name of this racist and segregationist from our public schools

Body of email: Wilson High School in Tacoma is named after this virulent racist and segregationist. Let’s start by stripping the name Woodrow Wilson off of that institution.

I would like a response from Superintendent Carla Santoro and from the School Board

    **********************************************************

I also cc’d the local Tacoma and Seattle television and print media on this. If they do not act on my email I will be at the next School Board Meeting and City Council Meetings, both of which are televised, asking them why they have not responded. You can also bet your ass that when school begins again in September I will have flyers printed up and will be paying a couple students to distribute them to all of the black students who are having to sit in a building named after, and honoring, the man who RE SEGREGATED the federal Civil Service.

This puts the local race baiters, of which Tacoma’s Mayor is their leader, between a rock and a hard place.

I have no intention of letting up after I force this issue and they are compelled to take Wilson’s name off that school. Oh hell no, as soon as that is accomplished I have a whole list drawn up and will pick another progressive icon to go after.

It’s as easy as taking candy from a baby, name a prog icon and you have also named a documented racist almost every damn time.

  4. Just think of Robert Byrd’s KKK Chapter as a sort of “Gentleman’s Club” for rich fat Democrats.

You’ll feel better about the whole thing.

  5. According to today’s Washington Times, all Confederate Flag items are ” yanked” from Gettysburg Store.

These progs can move with lightening speed on mindless issues, while “we” are forced to sit on our arses and keep our mouths shut.

“We” no longer have any representation. As Rush said today, all we have is speech makers and requests for donations. Fuckemall!

  6. @Willygoatgruff. Good question. I guess the 152nd reenactment of the Battle of Gettysburg set for July 3,4, and 5 this years will be boycotted by the left. Or the Confederates will be forced to use pure white or rainbow color flags.

The country is going, has gone, stone mad

  7. your right….the battle at Gettysburg couldn’t have happened because the Union had no one to fight because they didn’t have a flag to fight under….therefore the Gettysburg address couldn’t of happened in July of 1863….thereby rendering the Emancipation Proclamation of January 1st 1863 unnecessary….so, it didn’t happen….I want my slaves back….
