While working I’ve been running police interrogation videos in the background. They are fascinating, all the different techniques detectives use to break a criminal.
The video I’m linking is not so much about technique as it is about a strange turn of events after a woman presses charges against her husband for kidnapping.
Decade prior there were 2 couples who used to double date, but both grew bored with their spouses. Brian and Denise fell in love and wanted Mike, her current husband out of the picture. They conspired to kill him, police knew it but couldn’t prove it.
Then, 16 years later, Denise walks into a police station to press charges against Brian. He held her at gunpoint in a car when she wanted a divorce.
Police seized on this opportunity and used it to break open the cold case.
I’ve posted the end, where Brian tells about how he killed Mike. But the real reason I am posting this is for you to hear the impact statement from Mike’s mother. It will bring you to tears.
She never gave up on her son. She wrote 2600 letters and never stop telling her story. Her statement is gut wrenching.
The love of a mother—>
Ain’t no woman gonna give you good enough sex to be worth throwing your life down the drain by killing someone for her. She sure as hell isn’t gonna give you love because she’s clearly a psychopath, dumbass.
I’m not watching the video. The last thing I need to do tonight is make my mascara run. Did I spell that right? For the life of me I will never understand why people that once loved each other kill each other. Just walk away. WTF?
I dimly remember a case in England where a GP had killed dozens and dozens of his patients. The Police didn’t have shit but statistics and gut feelings.
The Chief Inspector had a brilliant idea… bring every file box available to the interrogation room, and write the Doctor’s name in every different handwritings you can conjure.
They brought in the murderous Doctor… the murderous Doctor saw all the fucking (empty) boxes, and said, “I guess you got me…”
The Chief Inspector said, “We have you.”
The murderous Doctor then confessed to everything, and more.
All on the basis of empty boxes.
Two of my absolute favorite detective moments-
1- The Dentist who killed his wife, in Boston, and enlisted the aid of his brother. Detective shows up, hears the dentist’s story, that he just woke up and found his wife dead. He walked outside, looked around, and told everyone, he did it, he’s lying. They asked why he felt that way. Answer: there was dew on everything… except his car.
2- Guy shows up at scene of his wife’s murder, wailing and crying, and sobbing… he just drove in from a long trip. Detective walks over to his car and puts his hand on the hood. He knows the guy is lying.
I love stuff like that. Simple… irrefutable. It doesn’t prove murder, but it puts them on the radar.
Starts to walk away, Umm just one more thing. Worked for Columbo.
Dude….cuidado. This is a rabbit hole you need to explore in small steps. Before you know it you’ll be listening to all 8 hours of Chris Watsons confessions.
I tagged out after that one.
But here’s one safe for general audiences….the one and only,
Jeff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9x2NaGkl6BI
The killer wife was a malignant narcissist. The guy she roped into committing the murder of her husband was mere ‘supply’ – so was the daughter she abused.

BUT: the grandmother was a super-empath, and saw right through the wife, which is why the wife tried to destroy the grandmother.
Malignant narcissists are dangerous fucking people. Educate yourself on this.
If someone’s too good to be true, they’re almost always a psychopath.
^^^ Democrats are dangerous fucking people. Educate yourself on this.
There, I know you didn’t ask, but I edited it for you.
What the difference between a malignant narcissist and a Democrat?
The Democrat, that isn’t malignant narcissist and there might actually be some although they are about as rare as white supremists, will only kill you for your own good.
Just heartbreaking.
When the cops confronted OJ they said: “We have to speak to you about your wife.”
OJ jumped up and cried “I didn’t kill her!”
May be apocryphal.

izlamo delenda est …
Why did the cannibal join the police force? So he could grill suspects.
I love how they set up with these “innocent” questions. Then they swoop in for the kill. It is a thing to behold!
My next favorite part is when they knock on the door of a cold case suspect with all the evidence they need to arrest them, and surprise the shit out of him!
Bring on the popcorn!
I watched, heartbreaking.
Mom is wrong though, justice was not served. Even if Brian is getting gang raped every night and Denise the same.
They planned and committed murder. An eye for an eye.
As commented earlier, FFS just walk away. But no, the enticement of $1.7M was just too much. Money isn’t the root of all evil, it’s the love of money. I was a multi millionaire for about 20 years, had all the toys, several homes, one in Steamboat on 20 acres but all that’s gone and I now lead a simple life with a very special woman-never been happier.
