Last year, the Denver City Council put together the “Reimagine Policing and Public Safety Task Force”.
Readers here can guess where this went.
On 1/13, the law enforcement representative to the task force withdrew. The claim is that the task force silenced law enforcement. Considering that the task force was opened on December 3rd by Denver Councilwoman Candi CdeBaca (socialist) advocating defunding the police. The article has some more details, but few specifics other than a few quotes.
Considering the background for this task force and the defund the police lunatics, I have to think this is pretty accurate.
