BigGovernment: A new poll from TransferWise shows that 35 percent of those born in the United States would consider ditching their home country to live elsewhere; that number skyrockets among those aged 18-34, the so-called millennials, 55 percent of whom said they would think of taking off if given the chance.
Most of those millennials cite economics as a chief factor in their desire to leave: 43 percent of men and 38 percent of women said they’d leave if they could get paid more in another country.
The rationales for staying in America, articulated by Americans, are particularly weak: 59 percent say they would stay because “it is home,” another 58 percent say they would stay thanks to romantic and family ties – and then the stats drop precipitously, with just 22 percent stating they would stay for the democratic society, 17 percent for the culture, 10 percent for the good future for children, 5 percent for wealth, 3 percent for low crime, and 2 percent for low taxes.
All of which makes sense, given that America has been moving in the wrong direction with regard to preservation of democratic society, a common culture, a good future for children, wealth, low crime, or low taxes. more
Don’t let the Golden Gate hit you in the butt when you leave, guys…

Head to CUBA….good enough for Che…..good enough for you.
Good riddance.
My 3 children are all millennials born from 1982-88. They don’t plan on going anywhere which is good for them because they still believe in America. They were also homeschooled for the most part.
The 27′ year old son of a friend of mine is one of these chuckleheads.
It’s romantic to talk shit about America while on its shores. They’ve been lied to about race relations and the joys of socialism and communism while fully reaping and enjoying the benefits of a free market. Every one of them would haul ass back to America after spending time in any of the world’s socialist dystopias and I say this as someone who has lived off and on in France for the last 25 years.
Buh bye! The Middle East seems like a good place for them to settle.
Another example of those who sh*t up their own house and then leave. Doesn’t it figure.
Good. Then go.
Sorry assholes, but there’s no place to go. The US of A is the last outpost for most people. Unless you think you’re bulletproof.
Or maybe you could try the Peace Corp. They are looking for volunteers in Cambodia. You must have a BA in Agriculture or Oceanography or something. They give you room and board and a pittance, but you will be helping save the planet. Go for it.
The Amazon is another region to bring your skills to. They need help. They also like white meat. Be all you can be in the peace corp.
Worthless phux take their disproved and fraudulent ideas to other states. A few years later they have to leave the state they helped phuk up. Gotta hunch Marx and Clinton planned it that way.
55 percent said they would think of taking off if “given a chance.”
Who the fuck is stopping you? Oh you mean you may not be able to get a visa or a work permit “over there? Oh I understand.
Oh the fucking irony.
Buh bye.
Take your net neutrality, locally sourced sustainable food speckled hipster beards, fry voices, soccer, tiny houses, teeny cars and your bike lanes with you.
BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
To hell with race relations. It’s all BS and I’m done with it.
So. They s#it in the pool, and now they want out..
Stay and suffer, morons
Millennial here…. I would leave America but not for the reasons you think… I’d be headed to Australia or Iceland for some semblance of a racial homeland, my generation didn’t destroy this country, it’s been plunging into an abyss since LBJ’s Great Society and Ted Kennedys immigration act of ’65. My generation is pretty worthless but we had nothing to do with that… Worthless, cowardly baby boomers allowed this madness, Millenials were born into it and coddled by there baby boomer parents. All faults of children can be traced directly to parents whether thru nature or nurture. So if there is something wrong with us (which there undoubtedly is) look in the mirror. Baby boomers need to reflect on how they’ve destroyed the country, millenials aren’t helping matters but we certainly were not the beginning of the end for America.
They might get out and travel some. There are still a few good states left to be happy in.
But we don’t want them here Stevo – even the good states have more than their share of whiners and layabouts that are way overly impressed with themselves. The reason we still are good states is that we haven’t been overrun with them yet.
Yes sTevo but they’d fuck it up like they did to New Hampshire.
Cambodia, Vietnam, the Amazon, is their best bet.
This reminds me- are Alex Baldwin and Kim Basinger still here??
Another endorsement of the statement that America would be lost if it strayed from its Judeo-Christian foundational beliefs.
A big problem is the vanity of those who are unremorsefully IGNORANT. There is little consideration of the damage one can do to themselves, their neighbors, their community, their country their world. In a mindset that does whatever, because it feels good, THIS is what you get.
This is compounded by “educators” who themselves are stupid, but very willing to earn their salary serving as brainwashers for a government intent on dominating its populace.
My comments are still being eaten alive before I can even finish them. Is someone pissed at us and won’t allow us to comment because it might be against their PC worldview? I’m a pissed baby boomer who doesn’t like what has happened to my country. God help us because he’s the only one I can trust, it’s certainly not this govt. under obummer. God is still in charge and always will be, obummer hopefully will be a footnote to folly, arrogance and hubris in the future when history is written about this lousy, miserable, sorry excuse for a presidunce.
