President Trump’s Supreme Court Announcement Was The Most Watched Program Tuesday Night

DC: President Trump’s Supreme Court announcement was the highest rated show on television Tuesday night.

Nearly 33 million people watched the president announce that he was nominating Judge Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court from the East Room of the White House. Those numbers are higher than Barack Obama’s final State of the Union address last year, which reached a little over 31 million viewers.

CBS and Fox News brought in the most viewers, with 7.97 million and 7.56 million, respectively.

“I made a promise to the people that I would find the very best judge in the country to nominate to the Supreme Court,” Trump said Tuesday night. “Millions of people said this was the single most important decision.”

7 Comments on President Trump’s Supreme Court Announcement Was The Most Watched Program Tuesday Night

  1. Trump is brilliant. The MSM had count downs, it was the talk of the day and he ended up with a full audience to remind everyone he is fulfilling a promise, transparent and here comes a handsome highly qualified well spoken Gorsuch with his attractive wife to make a first impression to counter the kooks that showed up instantly with premade signs or premade but had his name written in with a sharpie. I love Trump’s media manipulation and presentation. He is a rock star.

  2. The viewer numbers should send a message of it’s own.

Lot of messages sent with the announcement though. Not only a great choice, but a tactical move with those that had previously endorsed Gorsuch on the libtard side and coupled with his younger age.

The other message that was with subtle brilliance, was Wayne LaPierre’s (NRA CEO) presence at the White House, seated next to President Trump, and for the planning of the confirmation of Judge Gorsuch.
