She claimed to be a Cherokee when she submitted recipes for the Pow Wow Chow Cookbook. You can see at the end of the submission it says, “Elizabeth Warren – Cherokee”
That really is an outrage under the circumstances she finds herself in now. She is not fit for office, under the terms the left has laid out about cultural appropriation.

And note, one of the recipes was a direct lift from a recipe published in the NY Times!

It never ceases to amaze me that they think nobody can find audio/video or print copy of statements they have made in the past.
I must have misunderstood her when she said her father’s father objected to his son’s marriage to Warren’s mother because she was Cherokee.

The Duke and Dutchess of Windsor and Cole Porter were often photographed wearing Injun headdresses. All across Canada and every time they spent their vacations in Oklahoma with their tribesmen and tribeswomen. I’ve read that the three of them often entertained the redhides with Porter’s piano playing and the Duke’s very dry martinis. In fact, if you go on the Cherokee genealogical website, it has the same recipe for cold omelets and crab meat. Evidently, the stagecoaches shipped thousands of tons of live crabs out to the Indian Nation every month. The Cherokees were noted gourmands. I don’t know why anybody would find this unbelievable. Senator Warren never claimed to be there when the Windsors and Porter were scrambling those cold crabmeat omelets in Oklahoma. By the way, has anyone else noticed that the Dutchess had extremely high cheekbones?
The issue wasn’t whether she was a member of the Cherokee tribe; the issue was whether she was Native American at all.
Well, I never heard her claim she had a CDIB card, she claimed her parents had to elope because her father’s family didn’t like that her mother was part Delaware and Cherokee.
When it comes to the Cherokees it is highly possible to be part Cherokee and not be on the roll because many during the trail of tears settled along the trail and later when Cherokees had to sign the Dawes Roll in order to receive land these folks were not allowed to because they weren’t living in Cherokee Nation and were considered U.S. Citizens, some that did live in Cherokee Nation refused to sign the roll because they didn’t trust the government.
She was totally ignorant to ever take a DNA test because she had a better lie before the DNA test. Plus she can only really claim now to be 1/1024 Peru, Columbian or Mexican. lol

rickn8or: I thought that the issue was if she stole the Windsor’s favorite recipe for cold omelets with crab meat, but I’m only 1/1024 percent certain of the truth of this recipe misappropriation. If she gets elected President, I’m sure that she will insist that this tasty omelet is served on a regular basis to her fellow tribesmen and tribeswomen when they visit her in the Big Lady Chief’s White House for tribal celebrations.
