I did have one yanno’. Gen 4 mod 19. Grip feels like the box a pistol comes in. Gave it a try, almost two boxes of FMJ play ammo. Only thing I could hit was the ground if I threw the pistol. And the goddam thing ain’t got a real safety. Yeah, yeah, yeah, ‘safety trigger’ my ass. Getting a T shirt inside the trigger guard during holstering and now you get to see the trauma surgeon.
But I ain’t quite as rigid about the 1911 as I was. Currently the walk around is a 1935 FN Herstal Belguique. Got them sooper dooper personal defense rounds innit’. It points and hits like its older brother.

LOL, I almost gave up hope you’d see that. I’m not going to lie, it took me a while to get the hits with the Glock. I’ve put it back in the safe more than once. Mandatory is a sight swap. I’m driving nails with it now. A G19 is just such a great size to carry I didn’t want to give up on it. It’s pretty damn picky how you grip it. I do love my 1911’s though.
PS, I’m real careful rehostering. Pretty simple concept though, if you don’t want it to go bang, don’t press the trigger. LOL
My daily driver is a Prius. It helps offset my other vehicle… 2500hd with 8.1 gas motor. Some people get attitude towards it. Wife say “Don’t they realize you can carry a big gun in a little car?” (I do.) Way out of character for her.
