We had a state senator for my district in GA that tried sponsoring legislation to make the HPV vaccine mandatory several years ago for 6th grade girls. He received a $500 campaign contribution from Merck a few months before (apparently these guys can be bought cheaply). It was never passed and he finally got drummed out of office last year after being indicted and tried for submitting fraudulent expense reports (the jury acquitted him and apparently believed he had just made “errors” in his reporting).
A local girl in my hometown had the first round of the vaccine a couple of years ago and almost died. She spent months in ICU and has never fully recovered. She was only 17 yet the health department gave her the vaccine without parental consent. Her doctor put in her medical record that it was the vaccine that had caused her condition (the doctor was rumored to have been pressured not to note this in her medical record).
Some research out of Canada showed that the virus (antigen) and adjuvant (to stimulate the immune response) was found in the brain stems of 2 girls who had died suddenly after receiving the vaccine and it was believed that the HPV vaccine was the direct cause of their deaths. To me, this vaccine itself seems more dangerous than anything it is claimed to prevent.

Gardasil issue is a perfect example of how twisted our judicial system has become – guilty until proven innocent. “We know that all women are going to be sexually active, regardless of religious or health beliefs, so therefore all will get vaccinated”.
