  1. Over the past 11,000 years the sea level has, in fact, risen at a pace of about 4 feet per century.

Yet wealthy people continue to buy beachfront property.

On a related note, shoring up beaches as is famously being done in Malibu is unrelated to rising ocean levels, much more a matter of less sand on the beaches due to damming of rivers and other human causes. So humans do cause problems with beachfront property, but it has nothing to do with CO2.

  2. About 15 years before that headline, I was in grade school. I can distinctly remember predictions of a coming ice age which would cause the sea levels to lower as more and more ice piled up on land. Credibility is not one of climate scientist strong suits.
Too many Chicken Littles with agenda’s to propagate their research and make to influence decisions that will impact lives way beyond what natural fluxuations in climate has always and will always do.

  3. “Creeping waters will destroy…”
Make that Creepy Politicians and I would agree.

None of these criminal liars, up to and including the UN, can explain how making Energy unaffordable/unavailable/intermittent helps the poor of the planet survive rough weather or changing climate. Nor how carbon taxing productive people to the point that they cannot help their disadvantaged brethren.

They are simply determined to STEAL, nothing more. They deserve to be hated and shunned (or silenced).

  4. Orin Pilkey has come to my town many times telling us how irrepressible we were to allow any development based on his dire predictions. Yeah, we ignored him. Yeah we are still here. No roads or houses have been lost to the rising seas. Now a new set of idiots have taken his place telling use planners that we need to plan on 39 centimeters of rise by 2100. Yeah, we are ignoring them too.
