Sen. Dianne Feinstein Honors ‘Donald McCain’ On MSNBC

DC: Sen. Feinstein was remembering McCain and how he was a driving force in the Senate and in the Republican Party when she accidentally gifted him with a new first name — “Donald.”

“He could have very sobering outbursts, but when the chips were down, Donald McCain was there,” Feinstein said. “And he was there with heart and muscle, and it made a difference.”

“It makes a difference in the Senate, and I know it made a difference in the Republican Party,” she added.

Feinstein went back to correctly calling the late Senator “John” on her next reference, but did not seem to notice that she had mistakenly called him “Donald” and made no attempt to correct herself.  Watch

  1. The scrunt in the brief (blessedly so) video appeared to be something out of “Underworld”….. I am waiting for the asteroid!

  2. It’s amazing how most people have a vision of McCain as an honorable war hero, but those of us that pay attention know McCain was a scheming untrustworthy psychopathic war monger.
His dissing of the great honorable Sarah Palin is just proof that we are right – she NEVER did anything to McCain to deserve being dissed.

  3. Hopefully there will be a bus trip full of decades-elected senile Democrats that gets erroneously hit in a drone strike so we can get this crap over with quickly and all at once.

  4. Heh, heh … nobody likes a traitor.
Whoever may use him still knows that he’s a traitor.

Remember the story of the guy who sold out his town to Edward I?
He demanded (as his price of treachery) “all the gold he could carry” which Edward agreed to provide. After the town was taken Edward had the gold melted and poured down the dude’s throat – till he was full!

Feinstein obviously considered McCain along the same vein, seeing as she calls some 30+ year colleague by some other name. That’s an intentional insult, not an indication of Alzheimer’s.

    izlamo delenda est …
