Sessions: ‘Significance’ of Comey Error On Clinton Case Not ‘Fully Understood’

DC: Attorney General Jeff Sessions said during a Senate hearing Wednesday that the errors former FBI director James Comey made in the Hillary Clinton case are still not “fully understood.”

Sessions justified the firing of Director Comey during his testimony in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and asserted that the errors Comey made in the Clinton case were far more devastating than people realize.

“Sen. [Dianne] Feinstein, I don’t think it’s been fully understood the significance of the error that Mr. Comey made on the Clinton matter,” Sessions said. “I don’t think I’ve heard of a situation in which a major case in which Department of Justice prosecutors were involved in an investigation that the investigative agency announces the closure of the investigation.”  read more

  1. I think Mr. Sessions is moving at his pace. Remember they are still investigating Trumps Russian collusion. That may take another three years. I’m tired, tired, tired, tired, tired of this phucking bullshit!

  2. Yup, if he doesn’t resign I fully endorse President Trump firing him. Sooner rather than later. There must be a military lawyer that could recognize the significance of what high level corruption means to a lawful community and nation. Hopefully the swamp hasn’t completely contaminated the military.

  3. Sessions: ‘Significance’ of the equal justice under the law Not ‘Fully Understood’.

Move the “chihuahua” and replace him with a Bulldog before he recuses the DOJ from all investigations.

  4. This guy’s sposta be squeaky clean. How far have we fallen when someone like him is at the top of the totem pole? Folks, we’re in deep doo doo. Times like this I wish I was an octopus so I could pray the Rosary on all 8 hands at once.

  5. Brad, they did not cover their tracks, unless of course it’s the Keystone Cops on their tail. Do we have a legitimate law enforcement agency that will take care of business? Jeff Sessions is clearly not the man to head up the effort.
