Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee was arrested Thursday during a protest in Washington D.C. where she was fighting for the expansion of voting rights.
Lee, who represents the state’s 18th district, posted several photos on her Twitter account showing herself being restrained during the protest.
“I will never stop fighting for voting rights. The time is now to move the voting rights bills in the US Senate forward. Enough is enough,” she tweeted. More
According to The Guardian Jackson Lee is the third democrat arrested for tossing a hissy trying to keep the cheating going.

My mind went to the African American woman arrested at a Walmart, who managed to “projectile poop” at the cops.
…I’m going to go the AOC route and say I felt like she was threatening my life even though I wasn’t actually in the building, and also the Pelosi route and say she was threatening ALL the “democracy” and it was an insurrection.
…for those things, some stuff I’ll make up later after I convene a bunch of people that agree with whatever I say to “investigate” it, and also just ’cause she’s butt-ugly, I INSIST she be thrown in 24 hour solitay confinement without bail or trial until everyone forgets about her or she confesses and pleads out to real and imaginary crimes, just like the Capitol Hill Jan 6th patriots.
