Springtime for Hillary Closing on Broadway

Breitbart Entertainment

Suffs, the feminist Broadway musical that counts Hillary Clinton as one of its main producers, is officially a box-office bomb, with the show announcing a closing date after reportedly failing to turn a profit after nearly six months.

The musical — a nearly three-hour celebration of the suffragette movement, featuring a cast comprised entirely of women and gender “non-binary” performers — cost $19 million to produce, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing reviewed by the New York Times. That money has not been recouped, with ticket revenue failing to cover the weekly cost of operations. More

  1. It’s Ms. Clinton, of the Clintons. What’s the scam here? There’s always a scam here, right Haiti? Cattle futures are actually an easy way to make a ten bagger or two. There’s a moneymaker in there somewhere.

  2. The free markets are working as they should. Nobody normal wants to watch a three-hour montage of harpies bitching about the patriarchy.

You would think that Disney would have learned this lesson long ago with their female directors ruining every Marvel/Pixar/Star Wars movie they touch.

  3. Suffs’ a crappy feminist propaganda harangue. Not enough old feminist crones still alive to care or keep it afloat. The younger feminists are into social media, not Broadway shows their grandmothers want to see.

  4. HillHag was only involved to ensure that she was invited to the ‘right’ parties with the ‘right’ people, who would fall at her feet. And why not, the Odumbo’s get their share of entertainment lucre, lore and love. And HillTwat is better than they are in every way. Just ask her.

  5. Did the producers collect more investment money than it took to put on the show? Did they perhaps sell 1500% of “Springtime for Hillary”?
Will they now get to keep the extra since no one will look into the books of a Broadway show that closed without making a profit?
This sounds like it would make a good movie or two! Maybe even a Broadway musical of its own!
