Store where Texas school shooter got rifle was linked to cartel case

NYP

The Texas gun store where teen school shooter Salvador Ramos got an AR-15-style rifle before his rampage was previously part of an ammunition smuggling case involving the Mexican drug cartel, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

In 2009, a businessman from Uvalde’s neighboring town of Eagle Pass was accused of trying to smuggle more than 10,000 rounds of ammunition into Mexico, ICE said.

The firepower was purchased at Oasis Outback LLC in Uvalde — the same gun shop where Ramos got one of the rifles found inside Robb Elementary School after he massacred 21 people there last week.

Businessman Fred Farhat, 48, the owner of Farhat’s Boots and Jeans, paid almost $6,000 cash for more than 10,000 rounds of .223 and 5.56 x 45 mm ammunition in three separate transactions in a three-hour period from Oasis Outback in 2009, authorities said. more

  1. I kind of ran the numbers,A Daniel Defense over priced forge gun, an Aero Precision AR, Eotech, enough ammo to fill his 30 round mags, cost of the mags. I came up with right at $8,500.00. A member of our armed forces did the same on GAB and came up with $9,500.00. I forgot the guy had a pistol too. Where did this broke ass cowardly bitch get that kind of money?
But what’s most telling about this entire bull shit nightmare is that LE did their best to give him as much time as possible. And now watch the Libtards try and disarm us. They should be made targets. Just kidding. I’m a comedian.

  2. Question: so, a gun was ‘purchased’ from a dealer in GA, & the background check was done (supposedly) from a dealer in TX. did the dealer in GA actually ship this gun, or did the dealer in TX just grab one off their rack & reimburse the dealer in GA?

I’m thinking that shipping an ASSAULT WEAPON!!!! across state lines is going to come w/ a hefty price.

which begs the question …. where did this perp get the $$$??? … oh yeah, right … minimum wage @ Wendy’s

    … looking for a friend
(’cause all I’ve ever done was local store purchases … oh, once I purchased a kar 98k from a Montgomery Wards catalog in 1971)

Well bro the serial numbers gotta match. That doesn’t mean a dishonest FFL couldn’t play some shit but the purchaser should have those numbers.
California jumped the gun and defined an Assault Weapon. The grip can not extend directly below the action, the muzzle device cannot be a flash hider (including an A2 flash hider, lol), and the stock cannot be adjustable. Every gun I’ve delivered in Cali since that law took effect is NOT an assault weapon. Now what?

one has to wonder what sort of lunacy goes into these ‘definitions’. my state has a 3-criteria on ‘assault weapons’ where you need to meet 3 out of about 6 definitions to have an ‘assault rifle’ … one of them being ‘a bayonet lug’ … lmao

at least we don’t have the ‘adjustable stock’ no-no (that I am aware of) … & I’m not really sure what an adjustable stock or a bayonet lug has to do w/ an ‘assault weapon’ … of course, in today’s ridiculousness a rifle that is black is an ‘assault weapon’ … how racist!

fun story … bought my first SKS (packed full of cosmoline) at the G.C. Murphy 5 & 10 at the Landover Mall in Landover, MD in 1979 … $39 (had to decide between the spike bayonet or the blade bayonet)

  5. About the source of the money, I remember reading one article (which I can’t find now) that said Uvalde beast used a debit card. I wonder whose it was? Probably a Homeland Security account used to buy illegal stuff in sting or false flag ops.

  6. I use a carbine length buffer tube on my AR 15s and a Mission First Tactical Stock. If you cut a piece of PVC 4.5 inches long and wedge it between the stock and the buffer tube it’s locked in the longest position. Takes about 10 seconds to remove it.

  7. stop printing that little dogfuck’s name. I’m wondering if he tried to emulate the little dogfuck from sandyhook and I heard that little dogfuck’s name enough to learn it. Don’t make them famous
