Superman Protects Undocumented Workers From Armed White Supremacist in Latest Comic.

Perhaps it is just a coincidence, but perhaps not.

In the recent issue of Action Comics #987, “The Oz Effect,” released Wednesday, Superman arrives in the nick of time to protect a group of undocumented immigrants from a white man sporting an American flag bandanna, wielding a machine gun, who is going to shoot them for taking his job.

Superman blocks the bullets before they hit the terrified people.

“Stop this!” Superman orders the gunman.

“Why?!” he responds. “They ruined me! Stole from me!”

Grabbing the gunman by the collar and pulling him in close, Superman says, “The only person responsible for the blackness smothering your soul — is you!”

Police arrive, and Superman hands over the gunman and tells officers to make sure the victims are “safe and cared for.” An officer responds, “Anything you say, Superman!”

The moment comes just one week after President Donald Trump made the controversial announcement that he was ending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals policy put in place by former President Barack Obama. He then gave Congress a window to save the program.

  1. Czar,

If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck….

Sometimes you just have to admit we got conned. This is why people (like me) shouldn’t put faith in a man, but instead in God.

I believe what I’m seeing, because I’m not seeing what I believed in from Donald Trump.

He seems to be more worried about being liked and adored than doing what’s right and righteous.

  2. I’m so old I remember when this type of BS from Superman would have only been done by his “Bizzarro twin”. You can’t even read a freakin’ comic book these days without the leftist scum lecturing you on some inane, sanctimonious garbage about letting a steaming pile of criminal invaders become our de-facto rulers.

If Jeb has proven what he is, and Hillary has proven what she is, and Bernie has proven what he is, and, now, Donald has proven what he is, then how were we conned? Like the “Pigeon Drop” described here recently, a con requires your cooperation. Even if you’re lied to to get it.

When you’re given no choice, like the Bernie/Hillary “election,” then you can’t be conned. So, what was the Donald/Hillary “election”?

  4. @Tsunami, if the President’s goal is to be “liked and adored”, he’s failed immensely. The Left will never like him, no matter what, and he knows that.
Something has to be done about immigration. I think we can all agree on that.

Even if everybody agrees that something needs to be done, about anything, the super-majority agree with themselves that somebody else has to do it. So why should many care?

  6. Agreed, DrT…it’s like surrendering before the shots are fired.

I consider tsunami the ultimate firearms expert here (and BB),
but his approach to this seems more like, “Ready. Fire. Aim!”

  7. so superman has switched sides from the law abiding to the law breakers and taken the cops with him ?

sounds about right in this day and age.

just imagine, the situation gets even worse as it goes on according to the bible.

  8. Val,

He wants to be liked and adored by the people he associates with. Not the people who elected him.

He says all the right things, but then what policy does he pursue?

Granted, he started out okay with the nomination of Gorsuch, but look where he’s going and tell me he’s on the right path. He’s surrounding himself with leftist globalists. These people are giving him advice.

Failed immensely? He’s getting praises from Pelosi and Schumer – the swamp loves him.

I’ll take this at face value. This isn’t 3d chess anymore; it’s Jenga.

  9. The Henry Cavill version of the man of steel has done a good job of killing off Superman.
Ben Affleck as Batman pretty much killed off both Superman and Batman.
Grew up watching George Reeves as Superman. Was crushed when he was shot (suicide or gang hit since he was shacking up with a gang leader’s girlfriend).
Still have the opening credits memorized.
