PARIS — A massive police raid Wednesdays killed the suspected ringleader of the Paris attacks during a blitz-style sweep, two senior European intelligence officials said, after investigators followed leads that the fugitive militant was holed up north of the French capital and could be plotting another wave of violence.
More than 100 police and soldiers stormed the building during a seven-hour siege that left two dead including the suspected overseer of the Paris bloodshed, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, a Belgian extremist who had once boasted he could slip easily between Europe and the Islamic State strongholds in Syria.
F.D.R. and Eleanor. Ask Abdelhamid how that demonic pitchfork lodged up his ass feels. And is he disappointed there are no 72 virgins anywhere to be found?
not good enough
revive him and kill him again
hell must be a very big place, many to follow
Too bad he is dead, he needs a little waterboarding or some other form of encouragement.
How old are these senior intelligence officials? In their 80’s?
joe6pak — There is something to what you say. “Dead men tell no tales” — of how they were able to so easily get into the country, what kinds of social welfare they easily defrauded, and so on.
They keep referring to him as a “mastermind” on TV.
What kind of “mastermind” does it take to say:
“Abdul – shoot up the restaurant.”
“Hussein – explode your vest outside the stadium.”
“Barrack – you explode your vest as they run for cover.”
“Moose’tafah – you shoot up the Jewish Deli.”
… &c.
I’m not gettin anything particularly intelligent, here.
He doesn’t need to be brought back from the dead. He’ll have an eternity to find out what hell is like. Methinks it would be pretty horrendous to believe something like Mohammed’s teachings and then die and find out it’s not true. I expect his last breath here was pretty ghastly when he saw what was coming for him.
