Gotta say, when I first heard this song, I got choked up. After the State of Maryland legislated me into being a criminal (those high-capacity magazines and “assault” rifles), and after Owe’Malley’s Rain Tax, I had enough. I fixed up the house there and sold it. Bought a place in Florida. And love it here. The first thing we did was get our concealed carry permits. Took me SIX DAYS, and it was in the mailbox. Can’t beat that with a stick. It is beautiful here, and the people are so much nicer than the DC suburbs. You call a city, county, or state office here and you get a human being on the line quickly, and they are polite, professional and helpful. And the cost of living isn’t any higher than in Maryland. And no state income tax!
