House Republicans are said to be toning down their language to “repeal and replace” Obamacare to now only “repairing” the failed piece of legislation. Apparently taking advice from Frank Luntz, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (WI-R) stated recently on Fox News that “To repair the American health-care system, you have to repeal and replace this law, and that’s what we’re doing.” Ugh
They’re going to dither over how to market their handling of healthcare to the general public and squander their once in a lifetime majority control of Washington.
I’d prefer if they’d change the language from “repeal and replace” to “tear its guts out, chop it into small pieces, and then piss on the pieces.”
All along the GOP establishment narrative was:
“Repeal – Replace”. NOT REPEAL.
Big Government Socialist Healthcare the way the GOP establishment wants it….
Meaning the Hospitals, Medical Association and Health Insurance Industry have already written the Bill and the NRCC has already cashed the Check from their Lobbyists.
“REPEAL”…….NOT Replace or the politically correct word smithing of “Repair” provided by PR control groups.
Could also be next to Envy. Ryan was supposed to get his shot and has put his faith in the establishment. He isn’t going to be too keen to end those dreams helping Trump achieve his agenda.
