JTN: Staffers for Texas Democrat Rep. Jolanda Jones of Houston resigned this week, accusing their former boss of creating a “hostile workplace.”
“We, as a collective of senior staff, have repeatedly attempted to curb your behavior and address the type of work environment you have bred over the last month,” the staffers wrote in a letter to the congresswoman that was obtained by Fox 26.
“But, to no avail; we haven’t seen any success,” the letter continued. “You have continued to endorse, encourage, and create an abusive and hostile work environment in the workplace without accountability for you or your relatives’ actions.”
The letter accuses Jones’s son, Jiovanni “Jio” Christian Jones, of having an inappropriate relationship with an intern who worked in the office. MORE
